I was at the game, and you could probably tell it on TV as well, but the mood of Bama fans when Tua went into the game was unbelievable....most all of us had been saying all year to play him. Bama's offense looked completely different with him in there.

In the COACH"S ROOM, Mike Gundy of OSU never even blinked. It was like "I'm watching some game with two teams that are where I'll never be and I was so close that year." In 2011, Okla State was undefeated, ranked #2 after LSU beat Alabama 9-6 in Tuscaloosa and they beat Kan State 52-45 in Stillwater on Nov 5th then beat Texas Tech 66-6 the next week. But they lost at Iowa State 37-31 in 2OT's on a Friday Night ESPN game on Nov 18th and ended up in the Fiesta at #3 where they beat #4 Stanford. But only Alabama could win the college football national title game in overtime with a walkoff score. This was super sweet, #17. ROLL TIDE ROLL ONE MORE TIME.

I’m just blown away how Smith ran the whole way watching the football and ran straight for the goal line catching that football just before he got there! That’s talent and many hours of practice and all those receivers do it! Amazing guys and we notice!

I was at the game, and you could probably tell it on TV as well, but the mood of Bama fans when Tua went into the game was unbelievable....most all of us had been saying all year to play him. Then when he started shredding Georgia, their mood changed palpably. Georgia played an awesome game, and they couldn't have a better coach than Smart (except maybe Saban). Bama's offense looked completely different with him in there.

And please remember that Tua did NOT make all the good throws he could have when the receivers were open, nor did the receivers catch all his catchable throws. So Bama's offense COULD have done even better if the new quarterback and his wide-outs were sharper.
And now he's a Heisman Trophy winner!!!
despite Tua's lackluster performance in this year's match vs Clemson, I still cannot believe this game right here. For all the naysayers that say He folds under pressure... EAT THIS PERFORMANCE RIGHT HERE!!! DAMN. true freshman too

Even though Tua is a small quarter back, growing up he must have watched a Dan Marino game or highlight at some point. I have never seen a passing quick release and pocket presence like that since the days of Dan Marino. This kid is THAT GOOD of a passer. He's like Russell Wilson with the quick release of Dan Marino. Tua may get one or 2 more National Titles under his belt if he plays a full season like that game. Super high football X's and O's football IQ . But they lost at Iowa State 37-31 in 2OT's on a Friday Night ESPN game on Nov 18th and ended up in the Fiesta at #3 where they beat #4 Stanford.
