Mark Sears was so clutch in this game. Every time you thought Clemson was threatening, Sears nailed a three.

As an alumni I'm extremely proud. We've had a few teams who were good enough to make the Final Four but came up short. Always hoped for one Final Four trip. This team has exceeded expectations all year and I believe this will elevate our recruiting in the coming years. Some great teams to follow a la C.M. Newton/Wimp Sanderson years.

Wimps days were awesome. Went to several games back then and to the ncaa tourney at bjcc. Bama Played New Orleans and Providence played Austin Peay.

I think in general the game was evenly called, but the refs really seemed to like Schieffelin. Anytime a defender was near him, it was a foul

Wow this Bama team can shoot the 3 ball. I believe Uconn is the best team left and I’m rooting for them but if Bama is hitting the deep ball like this then they can beat/compete with anyone. Wow that must have been so frustrating as a Clemson player after watching three after three go down.

Just my hypothesis, refs are told not to call traveling as much anymore, now it's about allowing players to make highlight reel plays and not to slow the game down by enforcing traveling rules. TV flow and keeping fans watching is more important than the integrity of the game. I feel this has been true of the NBA for the last 35 years.

I think the first can be rationalized as a gather step but in my opinion you are correct. The second he for sure changed pivot foot and took 4 steps lol

Good call on that second one, where he shifted both feet and then took a big stride without dribbling the ball. I see it a lot on replays now. If a player is smooth with their footwork the officials are going to miss a lot of travels. I missed that travel watching it live. I see a lot of missed travels on step back 3 point shots where a player moves both feet behind the line without putting the ball on the floor, both in college and the NBA. Little chop steps seem to be allowed most of the time. I think the players have gotten so fast and smooth that it's hard for the officials to see it in real time.

This was a huge win for Alabama. Fans should be really excited. They've beaten some pretty good teams but lets not go crazy. They gotta face UConn. The defending national champs who are better than last year. Good luck trying to stop that

Mark Sears will be in the NBA for sure. He and Jalen Brunson have the same fearlessness.

They just stopped playing defense from 8 minutes left in the 2nd half. Wow. Truly bizarre play. They scored more points in 8 minutes than almost the entire 1st half.

Clemson needs to work on free throws this summer. Doesn't do much good to depend on an inside game if you can't make your free throws.
