Never noticed it before. The refs did a poor job throughout the game, IMHO. However; without the snap and the forward pass beyond the line of scrimmage; the incredible throw and catch would not have happen, and victory was sweet.

Two Auburn receivers were offside on the last play of the game.

As a bama fan it makes me feel good and bad that for YEARS Gary has made comments that proves he hates Alabama, which is his prerogative, but not as a tv analyst, he can’t helot himself and shows his bias, but when bama wins I love it. Bama gets a deep ball score and he’s like “my only question is did he step out of bounds, how did he beat them so bad” then Auburn beats bama down field and he’s like “there’s blown coverage then there’s blown coverage and that was blown coverage” that’s the key call, he made MANY MANY more like always, but he ate his words and his feelings.

At first I had wondered HOW did that ref see the block in the back but MISS the face mask. And although we could see it happen the ref had a different view point AND the Auburn player that had just made the block in the back was in the way of the ref seeing the face mask. And that is something that the REPLAY OFFICIAL should be able to call if the officials on the field miss it, imho. No Auburn fan complaining here btw, Bama fan through & through. I just believe in getting it right. It could be argued that the block in the back caused the face mask but in the interest of SAFETY you can't do that to a guy man. Something like that could break a guy's neck & make him paralyzed from the neck down!!! SCARY!!! Yes, we want to beat Auburn but I don't like the idea of anything like that happening! With that being said, it was because of that BS that they called a penalty on the touchdown. And that penalty on the TD was totally crap. Great frickin ending though. I was wondering: The block in the back caused the facemask, did the facemask go uncalled for that reason? Similarly to how a running into the kicker or roughing the kicker will go uncalled if the player is pushed into the kicker? It’s the same concept, I’m just wondering if it applies to all fouls. Now that I think about it, if a defensive player jumps into the neutral zone causing a false start, the penalty is on the defense. So two examples of a foul being uncalled because it was caused by another foul

Milroe is absolutely crazy and makes Bama fans hate him and love him at the same time. Those were some of the most boneheaded plays by a QB in history on the final drive's 2nd and 3rd downs followed by pure magic on 4th and goal from the 31 yard line 🤣

I watched the replay thoroughly Arnold actually did step out at the 3.5 yard line. It was hard to see because there was a ref standing in the way. But he did step out that’s why they erased it off the board.

Yeah Auburn was tackling Alabama receivers before the ball got there the whole game. The refs never did call pass interference.

That final score 33- 24. Babama defense s score a touchdown. It coount it has touchown on the field. That was a touchdown by Alabama that made to 33-24. So everyone else has the final score 27-24. Can anyone explain which score is the right one? Wathcing the game Alabama score on the final drive make it. 33-24 that was the final score right?

@@jonhedges9422 I don't like Prayer at Jordan-Hare because it implies it was some close-your-eyes-and-heave-it miracle. There was some luck involved as there are in many plays but that was a designed drill where everyone goes deep and clusters together like it's a Hail Mary, but then 2 receivers split and head to opposite corners and the quarterback throws to whomever is open or just single-covered. Then it requires skill to put the throw on the money, which Milroe apparently has. It was executed perfectly. This was no Hail Mary where the ball got tipped around and fell into the lap of a Bama receiver by some divine guidance. That could be used to say Alabama was just lucky and is not as good as we thought, when actually it proves that Alabama has what it takes to win against adversity, when the odds are stacked against them.

i dont care what schools claim the best rivalry...BAMA VS AUBURN always hinges on one play...legends are made....hugh freeze wil get it done, auburn isnt in that bad shape....this alabama team can play football when they want to, with anybody...
