My Ancestors from both sides are Traced to here, albeit my Grandfather's Grandmother's Grandparents and my own Great Great Grandfather is Turkmen Ali, the one of the latest Migrators of Turkmens to my Island of Cyprus (Currently The North, Cypriot Turks real name is Turkmens of Cyprus as we were known before). My Grandparents say he spoke A form of more original dialect of Turkish, But was from Turkmens who crossed from Caspian Sea through Caucusus to Turkey's East then was sent to Cyprus. He became A Hukumdar someone of Authority of Law in that time in Cyprus, like A Lawyer to a Judge, he also learned Russian, Arabic and Persian, languages and literatures also. So he had Brains man. Both my Paternal and Maternal are of Oghuz Turkmen descent. Like Mothers Grandfather is called Turkmenli Bolay/Bolai((Fullmoon)). We had waves of Turkmen coming to Cyprus in different years starting from 1571-2 to recent 18th Century and more recent. Example Uregirs or known as Yoruks were the First Earliest Turkmens to settle here. We as A Turkmen people now known in Modern Day as (Turkish Cypriots, Cypriot Turks). My Paternal Grandmothers Father, my Grandfather was Yoruk Turkmen Mustafa and his Brothers were Ibram and Mehmed, Yoruk way of the names Ibrahim and Mehmet. He always wore Salvar and Efe clothing, he had A sweet personality and a sweet tooth for Turkish delights like Lokum and other sweets and had many children. I can trace back my Ancestors through the elders of my family and one of my aunts who know so much of my Paternal side. My Mothers side is predominantly Turkmen with African Sudanese, admixture when they were automatically freed from my people the Turkmens of Cyprus from Christian and Ottoman slave trade. Also my real Father, My Grandfather who raised me, Ramadan stressed the importance of Turkmen law and qualities our families should have. He taught his Children and Grandchildren the Aqsaqal to Descendant way, The Truthful and Respectful, Hardworking way. My Grandfather's Father was kind of A Leader of the community who survived being shot at by handgun in his bed. And some shotgun injuries in two different occasions and also when one time he was in his barn, they closed they shut the barns gate and restricted it from the other side and set on fire both sides, he survived and lived to 85-90 years old, obviously there are more stories on how he got his revenge. But it's too much. So yeah. Maybe I should forum it or blog or vlog it. Anyways Peaceouuuuut.

during the summer season and it is, I would say 4 or more months. the Awaza city is packed with tourists. and it was always even during Soviet times (may be not exactly this location, but closer to Turkmenbashi/ Krasnovodsk). The tourists are usually from Turkmenistan, and the accommodation are getting very expensive here, that time. I was ones there and the simplest room with nothing inside except a bed, costed 40$ a night.

Caspian see is "too cold to swim in"? Hard to believe, given that air temperatures in Avaza/Turkmenbasy regularly exceed 40°C, warmer than just about every Mediterranean city, so I see absolutely no reason why the sea would be cold.

You can tell how the interviewee immediately gets uncomfortable with the question of whether a third to half of young people under the age of 30 are drug addicts! "We don't tend to go and mix with any drug addicts" and "I don't bother to tell the tourists not to go and become drug addicted" is one way of dodging the question!
