Great vid and can’t wait for the full review. When I first saw your original akin glove video I checked out their site and the jeans and hoody caught my eye. I may be ordering the same soon. Akin’s hoody vs Uglybros Gullinbursti hoody would be a great comparison. Seeing your perspective on the quality/material vs price point would be super helpful.

You may recall I dropped a comment about you being my inspo for an XSR. Ended up picking one up and I’m truly in love. Can’t stop ordering mods either. I’d recommend you review the new Dyneema Pando Moto top and bottom. I just got mine in from Urban Rider and WOW, it is breathable. You may find yourself going ATGATT with those pieces, makes it effortless to be fully geared yet be stylish.

I love the Akin Stealth Jeans! Been wearing mine for a few weeks now and love how lightweight they feel.. also not super thick like a lot of my other motorcycle jeans

Low thickness means less protection. Dragging holeshot is probably the most secure Jean out there but its not comfortable to wear.

@@SSchithFoo not really. A lot of companies tend to cheap out by using a bunch more less abrasion resistant material on top so they can get the slide times necessary to call it abrasion resistance. A good example are the Oakland riding jeans. They use a 12oz denim instead of 8 oz denim and in return the kevlar lining only has to be around 20% kevlar in the lining itself. The rest being a durable polyester and cotton blend. Remember that 100% kevlar is much tougher and less malleable so the more kevlar you use the more expensive material (think 100% cotton being more expensive than synthetic for example) you'll need to blend with it in order to give it the malleability and softness It needs to be able to be stitched properly onto the inside of the jean. Not to mention, blending synthetic fibers with kevlar is much easier and more cost efficient than using something much higher quality. This is why you typically see non leather gear that's cheap needing to be bulky. It's not so much how many layers of fabric are there, but more about what those layers of fabric are. This is why single layer jeans can now achieve CE AA ratings relatively easily. We've gotten better at weaving abrasion resistant fibers into lifestyle fabrics and we've also gotten better at actually making them feel much more comfortable and also dying them different colors. The biggest reason people buy riding jeans is to be incognito so for a while the best decision was just to throw a lifestyle fabric on top. Also liners have become much better in lined clothing as well. Overall technology has advanced and the thinking that you gotta look like a marshmallow to be safe isn't quite the case.

Those new gloves look nice! Essentially the Ghost glove with a cross pattern leather top instead of mesh style.

My Jeans were delivered just last week, super comfortable! Amazing actually, stretchy waistband. Recommend

I liked it better ... I have rode both. Both great. The power of the 900 is crazy. But mostly the 700 fit me better and I liked the look of it better. Less beefy

That vest missed the mark with that elastic collar, a non-collar or rolled-color would’ve made it like a club style jacket with a cleaner look!

Why would they put that logo at the back of the ankle on the jeans? Who makes decisions for these companies? Call something stealth, then throw a silly white logo on the leg where everyone can see it.
