SUMMER MOTO GEAR?! - Sweat vs Riding Protection

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Beautiful riding weather is upon us! Summer is here and plenty of moto adventures are being planned. What gear, if any, are you wearing that holds up in the heat? I'd like to protect my skin, but not sweat a lot. Right or wrong, I test out both worlds ... holey jeans and a modern protective tech Motoshirt by John Doe.

Try John Doe riding jeans, also comes in a slim fit or super slim fit if that's your style. Lined with the Dupont XTM-fiber Kevlar liner so keeps you cool enough while riding. Doesn't have holes in the knees but if you crash a few times they will be just as fashionable as your Capri cut-offs there.

As for the rest, unless it’s extremely hot, I’m wearing everything...if it’s too hot I typically don’t ride...if I’m uncomfortable then I’m not gonna enjoy the ride...but I will never ride without the correct footwear, gloves & a helmet.

I discovered your channel after searching on KZread reviews for this very shirt.... and based on this I made my purchase (in the same color too)! Bought it on eBay and had it shipped from the Netherlands in size Medium, which I was apprehensive about because the size chart for this size said 39 inches in circumference when my chest is 41. However, it fits a bit looser than I would like. Can I ask what size is the moto shirt you're wearing, and your chest circumference,? It will really help me as I decide to go for the Small. Much appreciated!

Revit has an amazing summer kind of jacket, the Eclipse model it's perfect for the very hot days. And for riding jeans, there are quite a few brands offering single Layer Dyneema jeans, they are a bit chunkier than normal jeans but nothing leathers or Kevlar layered Jeans.
