Thank you for the information on Cipro, never knew this either and the danger's that can exacerbate symptoms of being on benzo's.I now wear a wrist band of all the drugs that must not be given to me by the medical and psychiatric fraternity, all of them scare me witless.Been labled since I was in my 20's as having psychological problems, when infact I had no psych problems at all.All my sincere best wishes to Chris.

@@newjerseydevil6115 Hang in there, I don't know your circumstances but try your best to get away from them if possible. I dealt with a pretty abusive family growing up and was drugged with adderall. Right now I'm dealing with some illness that started in 2021 and I believe it may be from the psych med injection. It's attacking my nervous system destroying my vision and hearing and ability to sleep. They know I have CNS inflammation but cannot find the cause yet. Started with night sweats shortness of breath and insomnia. I'm only 29 and my future seems bleak at the moment. I pray things get better from you.

I'm going through this rn. I'm stuck on valium and cymbalta. It's making me very sick but when I try to come off of either of them the akathisia explodes. I'm so very sick and I need help.

I made this comment 2 yrs ago. I was so excited to figure out what myself and my Mom had, BUT I was unaware that not one Dr could be found that knew anything about aka, or were even willing to listen. I'm finally over all of my symptoms. It was torture

Sorry Chris, maybe I missed it, thank you so much for sharing your story but how long did your akathisia take to leave? I'm at three years after the antibiotic setback and 5 years post benzos and I'm still having severe aka with seemingly no end in sight, just wondering how long can this possibly go on for?

Just startling to listen this video now, and without knowing the full context yet (disclaimer), this is true...unless Chris has explicit permission from the said party to disclose said information. It is possible that person gave permission for the sake of educating the public. I'm just beginning to learn about this condition through someone I know and they sent me link among a few other videos. This is invaluable information to me to understanding what that person is going through.
