My guys slappin' each other when they saw Akashi's zone is hella funny 🤣

Hayama's five finger lightning dribble wasn't given enough credit in the anime as it was in the manga. Let me explain: His "5 fingers" works just like Kiyoshi "right of postponement". Practically, if the opponet moves AFTER Hayama began his motion it's too late to stop him, he already passed you. If the opponent moves BEFORE Hayama began his motion, than he can just change direction and dribble you anyway or shot, since he still has to move the ball. That's why trying to stop him alone is very difficult. And now you got what it means that if Akashi has no expectation from you anymore, it's like a countdown. Mayuzumi was the first, once all of them lost in their one-on-one, Akashi is ready to use his trigger. Also in the manga the moment Akashi stopped Meteor Jam was portrayed better. Akashi didn't just lift his arm and blocked Meteor Jam in the manga, in fact in the anime it doesn't make sense that Kagami, right before that, thought that Akashi couldn't stop his Meteor Jam like he did in the first quarter. Akashi in the manga is in the same position he was when he passed the ball to Hayama, practically under the rim, so Kagami had the space to jump for his meteor jam and, because of the zone, he could have changed his plan if Akashi moved towards him. However, since he was in the Zone, Akashi began to run towards him right when Kagami was about to jump and stole the ball from him, in the manga Kagami never falls down because Akashi stole the ball right when he was about to lift the ball for the jump and he began chasing Akashi immediately, but Akashi makes him bite the dust and in the meantime he dribble the rest of Seirin and scores.

@@markanjelloagrabio7515 In other words, in the manga Akashi stole the ball and beat Kagami across the court because he's extremely fast in zone. The anime made it look more dramatic but lost the speed aspect somewhat.

Hayama was done better in the manga. However Akashi's zone is definitely better in the anime - the one handed steal-block is hard to beat.

@@Ferelcapox7 I disagree because it makes look Kagami an idiot and it’s also not logical because Kagami can’t even jump if the opponent is so close to him for the meteor jam. It also reduce a lot Akashi speed because in the anime Kagami get close to catch up with him twice and he even get before him again, while in the manga Kagami didn’t even get close to him while Akashi was dribbling the rest of the team.

I feel like, the rakuzan game it was so forced, because Akashi is so strong that he could have win easily the game, but the writer said, "kuroko have the best plot armor ever... let's give it to him another power up"

Damn that reaction to Akashi's zone was best. I also replayed it so many times it's just epic, after this is it even possible to beat this man but heck plot armour comes in second door and blah blah.... But Akashi is the real deal way too much hype. Akashi entering the zone is my favorite moment in all. Also your reaction it was also epic. Way to go two more eps Also don't forget to react to birthday ova after this and then last game movie because ova is also very important.

Is it though? It makes sense. Zone is peerless individual performance. True Zone is the exact same + with team coordinated plays. The first Zone the player is all alone because his team mates would slow him down, true Zone is the rest of the team focused enough to not slow Kagami down and funnel his super fast performance as much as they can.

@@alex-511 In short, every ability in knb has been an exaggeration of real life except this. Amazing team work comes from long periods of working together, and you either got it or you don't. It doesn't suddenly get triggered by someone else going above and beyond. If anything, that throws off the coordination. Plus if it is something to be triggered, then anyone on the team should be able to do it and has no reason to be exclusive to Kagami.

It's true! You can try it out for yourselves. Stand fully straight and push your knees as far back as they can go with legs straight. Now jump. You barely move! Make sure when you try to jump you don't bend your legs, because you can't from his shot!

Just so y'all know, in Kuroko's they play a modified ruleset from the NBA that uses 10 minute quarters with 5 max fouls per player. Hyuga sitting while Seirin had no one on the court to shoot 3's was needed, basically like 5th foul in the NBA.

Akashi is really very majestic, but I love Aomine more for his athleticism, spectacular and impossible stunts, and his role as a mentor.Aomine is an Ace, and if he had continued to train, he would have taken gold in this tournament.
