So, now that Akashi's play has been shown, did you guys noticed how each of the Generation of Miracles is the embodiment of the ideal of their position: - An overpowering big man center (Murasakibara) - A highly accurate and strong defense Shooting Guard (Midorima) - An amazingly athletic and fast Power Forward (Aomine) - An incredibly versatile Small Forward (Kise) - A fantastic playmaker with great court vision in a Point Guard (Akashi) The Generation of Miracles is literally the perfect, ideal team, add in a specialist sixth man able to change the flow of the game, and there's no wonder they were such a force when they were a team

Actually "seeing the future" is a little overpercepted. Anime really tries to show their abilities as almost superpowers (i'm not saying it isn't cool cus it is xDD). Manga tries to explaing his "emperor eye" a little better as well as others abilities of generation of miracle's. Akashi is the absolute madman when it comes to reading body language. He can tell by the slowest moves what the player he's guarding will do. It actually shows how big his knowledge is when it comes to basketball. More than that he's absolute master of ball handling (as expected of point guard actually). Combining his perception, great reflexes and ball handling we achieve an awful lot of ankle breakers and generally a beast of a player. That's just some lore if someone's interested. Keep up good work, love your reactions. (btw excuse me if i made some mistakes but english is not my first language so go easy on me pls)

It's exaggerated but Murasakibara explains Emperor Eye as it enables its user to see another person's body with extreme detail, such as breathing, muscle movements or muscle contractions, body tension, rhythm, sweat, etc. allowing the user to predict future movements. Like observation to the extreme to predict the possible outcomes and counter them. So he is not literally seeing the future.

As everyone is explaining, "seeing the future" is Akashi's great observation skills. That is why when he attacked Kagami with those scissors, he knew he would dodge them

he's using his emperor eye to induce ankle break. And ankle breaks are a common scenario in street basket ball. wherein when you're up against a street baller who has some agility and skill. And as explained earlier by Akashi himself, he was observing all the enemy players. and strategized the possible course of actins he will take on second half

It seems like all throughout the first 2 seasons you guys have been underestimating Akashi even though its already been known that he is the freakin' CAPTAIN of the GoM, he lead and commanded the other 5 including Haizaki to 3 championships that says something about him already. An extremely violent Haizaki even followed Akashi's order to leave the team and you expect a calm and composed Midorima to stand a chance against Akashi? Now Akashi will show you guys what a Generation of Miracle can really do and now you'll understand why the entire Kuroko no Basket fandom really like Akashi. Forgive my rant 🤣🤣🤣 I just really like Akashi.

Akashi is a great antagonist for this show. He's Generation of Miracle's captain, Rakuzan's captain, OP powers, beautiful theme song, excellent punchline, even people like Aomine or Murasakibara are kinda scared of him... Lower your head fools 'cause you're worthy of the emperor. I love him and what's coming just deepen why, see you in futurs episodes. Oh, and the movie that takes place after the series is a masterpiece too in my eyes.

Next one is my most favorite episode in Kuroko no Basket. Most unpredictable skills by Midorima and Takao.

So Akaashi’s powers are 1.) predicting future movements 2.) ankle breaks (something to do with his speed and changing his rhythm that makes it hard for people marking him)

I would love a spin-off or something focusing on Akashi

Nope. They are not nba players. Nba players in their universe will have the most unbelieveable illogical powers.

The difference between the personalities is that the original Akashi was more fluent in his passes and most of his shots. You see this in the fight between Seirin and Rakuzan. The personality change was because he didn't want to lose his team, the only people who could understand him. Akashi's eyes change based on his personality: in his normal self, both his eyes are red-maroon, whereas the "other" Akashi has heterochromatic eyes, with the right eye being red and the left being yellow/orange. Initially, Akashi's personality was that of a person who respected his teammates, while still holding that winners-mentality. Akashi also cared and appreciated his fans that gave him daily support and focused solely on teamplay with his team. He also referred to people by their last name as a sign of respect and was overall less menacing. The original Akashi personality has red eyes. In his Middle School years, Akashi developed a second personality that twists on the original personality. This personality showed extreme hubris and does not tolerate those that belittle him or defies him, stating that those who serve him or earns his respect can look him in the eye. He also stated that if Rakuzan lost to Shutoku during the Winter Cup, he would gouge his eyes out and give them to his teammates. The reactions from all of his teammates and Midorima implied that they knew Akashi would actually do it, something that Takao noticed. This personality first manifested at Teikō Middle School, where Akashi desired to kick Haizaki off the club. When the original personality of Akashi is confronted at the possibility of defeat against fellow teammate Atsushi Murasakibara, the second personality becomes the dominant personality and also activates the Emperor Eye skill for the first time, allowing him to seize victory. --- Sorry for this long info but I am absolutely simping on Akashi

Akashi with the emperor eye is doing an ''ankle breaker'' that's why they keep falling. Obviously is not actually breaking the ankles tho

Exactly. The anime animated that poorly showing akashis dribble only and not the body movements.

"Zugga takai zo" lower your head

The Emperor Eye is actually pushing observation to the extreme. It's like using a *3rd person perspective to understand* the thing you see in *1st person perspective* His observation is in an insane level. The whole court is always analysed for movements and every player is marked. He watches the opponent's movements to make predictions and plays accordingly. So, fakes doesn't work and he always knows the ball trajectory. This is basically pushing regular human observation to the extreme.

There's a proper explanation how his Emperor eye works, the anime doesn't explain it (only in the manga) .the explanation is way too long but it's still realistic, he didn't actually "see the future" but he's so good at reading body language The anime is just exaggerating his abilities looking like he has activated his mangekyo sharingan just to make it looker, pretty sure you'll still enjoy it 😂

Well i dont think akashi can see the future or like (correct me if im wrong) he can probably predict his opponents through their body information and stats and also how his opponents move and he can accuratley see or predict them, and propbaly the reason how they keep like falling or when kagami was pushed down into the ground was probably ca sof intimidation (again correct me if im wrong)

Akashi doesn't actually predict the future like the anime says it thry over exaggerated it they manga explained how his eyes work. To put an a simple way he can read body language movement to a perfect degree which means everything your body is about to do he can already see it and can easily counter it without issues That's why his eyes are so special their very rare and unique and also why they say he can predict the future

Yeah, the anime does a shitty job at explaining Akashi's ability. What really happens is that Akashi since he was young is good at analyzing other people and their abilities. Stemmed from his rigorous study and trainning from his wealthy family. His father wants him to excel at everything. Thus, his ability emperor eyes actually just takes that a step further, and allow him to see the smallest muscle movements etc. And he himself interprets/analyze it to reach the "future seeing" affect. Not that his eyes sees the future.
