The second door Kuroko guarded wasn't about skill it was teamwork winning as a team that's why Aomine couldn't open it as he started to believe he didn't need anyone Kuroko is all for the team

The reason Akashi was the last to "awaken" among the generation of miracles is because his original playstyle made everyone better, so essentially, Akashi created the generation of miracles. In fear of being left behind because their powers grew too powerful, that's why he developed his selfish playstyle. It was never what made Teiko strong. It was the true, pure teamwork that Teiko had that got them the title of generation of miracles in the first place. That's why the title of the series is "Kuroko's Basketball". Only Kuroko didn't abandon this playstyle.

"Only Kuroko didn't abandon this playstyle" I didn't quite understand what you mean, "selfish style" was a necessity, due to the weakness of the opponent and the unwillingness of the others to play in the team. As you can see, both versions of Akasha play as a team, the exception concerns only the impulse to enter the zone, where one has it "I will abandon you and I will be one" and the other - ******* (we never found out) ... The difference also lies in the abilities of individuals, it is not in their preferences. Akashi is "new", without any problems passes and plays for the team, not trying to pull the blanket over himself. It's just that one is better in a 1x1 game, and the other in a team, due to the division of their ability by the author into "reading the enemy" and "reading teammates", as I understand it, both personalities can do both , but ideally, only something one thing. Akasha's style cannot be completely selfish, because in a team play, his ability to score points is limited by his physical abilities and throwing skills (so it will be easier for him to break 1 defender, pulling the attention of others, and then pass the pass to the Daiki or someone else. We've seen this a lot before entering the area.)

@@hurricane-1836 This is a long ass reply for something you misunderstand. There's a difference between a dish to an open man when you drive to the hoop, and a pass you set up through a play. The former relies on you as a dribbler to beat the defender, draw the defense and then pass away. Just because you passed doesn't mean it's unselfish. The person you passed to might not be the best person or in the best position to shoot but they're forced to shoot anyway, because they're wide open. The second one, passing through an actual play. The receiver knows they're getting the ball, theyre ready, there's actual communication. That's unselfish basketball. That's kuroko's basketball.

@@hurricane-1836 I suggest you watch NBA players and watch two different point guards; chris paul and russell westbrook. Both gets a ton of assists, but chris paul actually makes his teammates better by passing balls to people who are ready to shoot. Westbrook passes the ball and forces them to shoot even if it isn't ideal. Just because Akashi still passes the ball doesn't mean he's unselfish when he's in the "incomplete emperor eye" mode

2:59 actually it's his last name. It is a subtle way to see the difference in the 'real' Akashi vs the 'absolute' Akashi's personality. Real Akashi call's them all by their surnames, which is the standard thing to do in Japan, although he leaves off any honorifics so it's considered a more 'friendly' version of calling their name. Meanwhile Absolute Akashi calls them by their first name, sans honorifics, which is generally only done by people of "higher rank" than the one being called. Therefore Absolute Akashi showed how he was 'above' the others by calling them directly with their first names even though they all called him by his surname in 'respect'.

Not going to lie i think akashi's way was better. His play elevated all other players on his team. The direct drive zone was literally pass to kagami. Which yes he's the best player but I feel like Akashi's is more complete. Also kagami has been in zone basically the entire game how is he not exhausted. He was exhausted for like 3 seconds and then they put him right back where he was

I dont think so,for me there are three ability of his eyes. The left eye (red) is to use Court Vision (to analyze entire court and give a perfect pass). The left eye (orange) is to cut the ball when defending (only evil akashi can use it). The right eye is to use Ankle Break. Both akashi can use this ability because his right eye doesn't change in color when the other akashi took over. That's why old akashi still can ankle breaking kagami, but he can't cut the ball when he was defending. CMIIW

@@Minej_Mosuris well i wont argue the fact bcuz its still a shounen anime, they cant hav seirin lose the last fight. but it would have been epic if rakuzan won because i believe it still sends the same message. old akashi returning meant kuroko's ideal of a team working together to win works. and with rakuzans skill difference (they legit have 3 uncrowned kings) and with the combination of akashi's team zone, it shouldve been nearly impossible for seirin to come back. but as always kagami has seemingly unlimited stamina cuz hes been the zone for like nearly half the game and somehow all the other players got a stat boost from...pretty much nowhere. at least akashis made sense how his passes create perfect rhythm which inturn gave his team a powerup.

Everytime i watch Akashi's old self and zone i wonder what a heck was going on at Middle school? 4 Generation of Miracles had Kuroko and these passes of Akashi. No wonder why they broke whole county's middle school competition.

Kuroko is his last Name The crazy akashi calles everyone By thier First names like tetsuya, Ryouta, Shintarou,.... The old Akashi calls everyone by thier Last Name like Kuroko, Kise, Midorima....

Any of the miracle is superior to kagami in general he won all the miracle thx to the massive teamwork and a bit of arrogant from some of the miracles to me kuroko is the real MVP of seiren he had a counter for almost the miracle at first then push Kagami to greatness put hyuga, izuki and the heart of the team kiyoshi that makes the team better hell that's even how Kagami unlock true zone if it wasn't for true teamwork their wouldn't be any true zone but makes sense basket is at its core a teamwork sport. But each miracle can solo an entire team with or without zone on their own and we saw what happens when the miracles works together with their team honestly the miracles were overpowered no wonder the had to give them those weakness and their body not full adapt with their skills which is to much for them they miracles are truly monsters lol

Ankle breaking one person can be done no matter how focus he is especially if a player is so skilled like akashi, not to mention akashi is good at reading the game and every movement of the player which is over exaggerated in knb as emperor eye that looks into the future. Point guards like akashi are extremely dangerous on the court. A true zone is just like the normal zone but with every player focus on the game plus working in perfect sync (basically good team work) instead of just a single player playing in his best condition and try to carry the team.

i completely agree with you on all points about their bs friendship aka more numbers except that even op antagonists like akashi have weaknesses too. because at the end of the day, they color it as "friendship" but its pretty much saying 2 heads are usually better than one. obviously if that one head is just overwhelmingly better than even the two heads. however, it is true that typical op villains, their downfall is usually their lack of trust or allies. im not saying having allies or trust is the key to victory (aint that cringe) but because of their lack of trust, if they ever hit a wall that they couldnt overcome, they had no where else to turn to. perfect example was akashi's stun after being outplayed by kuroko and kagami. he was so op for the majority of the show but when he finally hits that wall where he was beat, he wasnt able to pull himself together until mayuzumi gave him that wakeup call. but yes i do agree that the friendship shit is getting out of hand (im looking at you fairy tail) and that at times, strategy, overwhelming intellect or power should trump these "i got more friends so i win" boosts. i was rlly hoping that rakuzan would win this one because if you look at it, at the end, rakuzan was also working as a team and just as coordinated as seririn. i guess you can make a case taht this is the first time they actually worked together so its not as perfect which then turns to the question: if they do work together more, will they also achieve the true zone seririn did. and at that point, rakuzan just auto wins everything lol.

@@maraisfan4life517 whoa i never bashed it. i think you misinterpreted my statement. as i also stated that akashi's main weakness, though superior to kagami or other characters in every way, had no one to turn to when he does fail so i do acknowledge that it helps having teammates around to back you up. what i mean is that there are times when one person's ability is so overwhelming that just working together won't be enough. they have to use their heads more, train more, in order to surpass that person. not beat him in a single game. you cant just introduce a random power like true zone out of nowhere and be like, after all this time, these guys had the stamina, the concentration to pull off somehting like that. the zone ability began as a last resort or final push for aomine when he really needs it. however, kagami seems to have no limit watsoever, using zone from the beginning, pasuing for 1 quarter and seemingly using it for the rest of the match even though they clearly stated it drains hella stamina. and just because true zone gives him super coordination does not mean he should be able to pass emperor's eye which sees the future because kagamis passing speed did not increase, it was just the speed of which his teammates would react to his plays. and how akashi did not see the future of kuroko blocking his way or faking him for that alley oop is also not plausible if he has emperor's eye. this show has already exaggerated their powers to the limit but you still gotta fill in plot holes like these. its hard to do so when they hyped and made the main villain so powerful. however, i think they did a good job when they brought back the old akashi, proving that kuroko's ideology of teamwork was right. but i think it wouldve been better if seirin lost because at that point, rakuzan has all 5 ppl in the zone and akashi supporting them. regardless of whether who won, the idea that teamwork makes the dreamworks has already been proven but in terms of greater abilities, rakuzan should still be much ahead of seirin. true zone was just an asspull they had to do in order to let seirin win.

Well technically True Zone is only a lesser version of the zone only because True Zone was a team effort, not a solo player's form. So regardless of True zone or normal zone, normal zone is stronger if it is based on individual. Besides Akashi broke kagami's ankles in zone so of course he can do it again with kagami in true zone.

But anyways, i Just love how clean the animation is, and i appreciate How they at least tried to focus not only on the main "hair colored" characters, but on the other teammates too. And the last scene on the "true zone" is an animation masterpiece to me, actually the whole anime itself give us such nice moves, you can really see the effort of the animators, even more at the time it was made

Also just cause he's on true zone doesn't mean kagami got any better. Just everybody coordinates with him at that speed now

While I call bullshit on anyone besides Teppei being able to keep up with Kagami's ZONE rapidfire movements I won't deny that the animation for the sequence is a piece of perfect art. Again, that's the ONLY thing I didn't like in the entire anime, the rest is fine and overall I can say I like this match because everyone, even the entire bench, contributed in some way.
