@sakura san but the thing is his power doesn’t literally “see in the future” he predicts it by predicting the movements of his opponents, although his emperor eye wouldn’t work on aomine if he was guarding him because since aomine is a streetball player he doesn’t have regular/formal movements due to his streetball style of play so he wouldn’t be able to predict what he would do with the ball, combined with the fact that aomine would go into zone as his zone key is to face a strong opponent, you may argue that akashi would be put into zone as well due to him not relying on his teammates but his zone only increases his agility and his emperor eye, but his emperor eye won’t work on defence (i stated the reason already) it may increase his defensive area but its no point if he can’t steal the ball from him, and aomine is faster than akashi so he simply won’t let akashi have the ball back. another argument may be that if akashi gets the ball first in the 1v1 he will just break aomines ankles, but even if he could do that, aomine is the most gifted when it comes to speed so if we saw that midorima was able to recover from getting his ankles broken by akashi, there will be no reason that aomine won’t be able to either, combined with the fact that he’s faster than midorima makes the move even more useless against akashi, in 1v1s aomine is dominant to akashi, and there’s no other debate to it

True, while pre last-game akashi may have struggled, the completed EE will have dominated aomine, and just because the latter has speed, doesn't mean that akashi is useless against him. Aomine's ability to recover depends entirely upon how complex akashi's handles are, which he can just easily increase, to the point where aomine is unable to recover, even with speed.

@@dthangggg bro… we’ve seen base akashi handling easily zone kagami, and zone kagami is relative to zone aomine or better, and that’s just BASE akashi, to that point he had not used the zone, which when he did he was unstoppable, nor had the real eye power he got on the movie the last game. Ofc aomine can stand up when his ankles are broken but kagami did the same thing and akashi just went back and again his ankles were broken. And he doesn’t need to be as fast as aomine since he literally sees the future as it’s stated in the anime, so he just moves before aomine can react same way he did with zone kagami.

@@adlib0950 it actually does, akashi predicting the future is just a metaphor to his actual ability, the emperor eye observes the body with extreme detail, from breathing, body tension, sweat etc, which helps him to make an accurate prediction on what’s gonna happen next, thus allowing him to “see the future” complete emperor eye doesn’t see further into the future, instead it allows akashi to predict everyone on the courts movements, and to hypothesize an accurate prediction on what the best outcome for himself would be, now let’s take away the part where he could see everyone on the court, now he can only hypothesis the best possible outcome, you could argue he would use that to ankle break his opponent, the ankle break is a move which relies on a change of speed, direction, and individual speed as well, akashi won’t be able to use that move against aomine since aomine is faster than him he won’t be able to shift his weight due to aomine adjusting to the situation faster than him, even if he is able to intensify his dribble it won’t matter if aomines weight won’t shift, and as i’ve already said, aomine’s moves are unpredictable so akashi won’t be able to “see the future” when guarding him because there’s nothing to predict with a guy like him because his moves are so irregular, matched with the fact that he is quicker than akashi, he won’t be able to steal the ball from aomine, murasakibara stated that akashis reaction time isn’t quick, he just “sees it” implying that he relies on his emperor eye to predict what’s gonna happen next allowing him to have a “quick reaction time” so even if he tries to go for a steal without the emperor eye , aomine will just out dribble him

Bullshit bro. Aomine started training. He has the formless shots, don't forget that. Akashi can predict the future but he isn't magician. Imagine what will happen if someone from Yosen shoots tha ball and misses. There will be a rebound. Akashi will defenetly not be able to get it before Murasakibara dunk it on his head. He can predict things but if he cannot stop them then what is the point? He didn't even try to block Kagami's falling star dunk. He was just looking from the ground as the dwarf he is. Kise is defenetly extending the limits of the copy. It's not 3 minutes but a lot more (he also started to train seriously)

I’m not entirely sure of this but I think Akashi’s ability to ankle break is connected to his ability to change pace. If you pay attention you can see everyone he makes “kneel/look down” basically tripped since he looks like he’s gonna charge (making them commit full power) but then stopped, which is the equivalent of braking on 60mph lmao

i mean combine that with his goofy ahh emperor eye, which if we are to assume it is quite literally seeing the future then is absolute broken, because when you can see your opponent's movements ahead of tiem alongside the will to brake immediately, you can forcefully ankle break anyone but even assuming that emperor eye is more or less predicting the future, it only aids in the idea that akashi has godly basketball iq (knowing players movements, or at least predicting them)

In my opinion Akashi it's too op (especially with buff from last game). 1vs1 he can make everyone kneel before him or predict the future and take the ball. Big brain as hell. As an team helper he even more op. Perfect passes + he can predict future of all on the court and make best strategy for whole game. His situation passes and wield range passes. It's a pity that at the end they began to drain him and then they pulled this command zone out of nowhere purely for the victory of the protagonist. if not for this plot crutch, then Akashi would be completely invincible.

Actually other miracles has more chance to do anything against him. But yeah so far Nash is the strongest because he's actually skilled and not needed his belial eye. He destroyed zone Kagami in base, meaning he can obliterate weak zones like Aomine's without even trying. - Akashi also has the strongest zone. No other miracle was able to 1v5 a team with a zone player. - Without Akashi, Jabberwock would have clapped Vorpal Swords. Nobody other than Akashi could even see the no motion pass. - Complete Emperor Eyes aren't just equal to Belial eye. EE is better when real Akashi uses it. - Complete EE Akashi sees farther in the future than Nash, by analyzing the smallest movements of opponents. CEE Akashi > Nash - He's even better than PC zone Kise and Murasakibara for the same reasons. In a 1v1, no one can touch him. If he was taller, he'd legit be the perfect player.

Aomine can simply ball handle faster than Akashi and run circles around him. It's cheap but that's the only way he can get around the EE. As long as he is outside of Akashi's arm range, he won't have the ball deflected so easily like slower characters such as Midori and Mitsu. Aomine basically has to make every possession count. OTOH, if Akashi has the ball, he can just continuously EE and AB Aomine. It's basically whoever gets the ball at tip off that wins the game. Akashi can't catch Aomine but Aomine can't stop Akashi.

And nice Streetball Skills

Still Akashi's most powerful ability is the finding kuroko from nowhere. He can reveal someone's talent which no one can copied in the series.
