Spettacolo! Io ho un Akai VS-G755 ed è identico non ho mai capito la differenza ma il riavvolgimento veloce è molto rapido.
Se pararmos pra pensar a tecnologia do vídeo cassete já era impressionante.Pense bem nos detalhes...

Bad thing about VHS TAPES- WOULD TAKE QUITE A BIT OF SPACE TO STORE AND WOULD ALSO WEAR WITH EVERY PLAYBACK AND WOULD EVEN DEVELOP MOULD WHEN EXPOSED TO MOISTURE

Yes, it was a dirty mode switch. A few drops of Rost Off fixed the problem.
Ouch, seems to hit the beginning of the tape a little hard, or does it just sound that way?
What are the holes in spools for when tape in it
Can you please show the bottom side of the mechanism of the VCR?

What brand name is your green coloured video cassette? Been looking for more colourful cassettes online, but I cannot find any of them. Thank you

TDK Cassette, I guess. they produced them in various colours for awhile

Yes, it's a TDK colour limited edition. There were also other colours (yellow, orange, violet and blue).

Rewinding should be without touching head.. Common problem with akai... Funai didn’t have this problem

I think older vcrs like this came from Japan, today vcrs rebadged akai are 100% made in china :(

Well, in my country, most newer VCRs were made in Malaysia and Indonesia. The new Sonys/Samsungs and Funai VCRs were made in China.

Are New VCR,s still available. I wouldn't mind laying my hands on one, considering I still have over 50 plus VHS tapes with me.
