I literally gave my mpc 2000xl away after bought the Maschine Studio. Big mistake for letting my mpc go. Well my new mpcx will be here in 3 days. I can’t wait.

I have a very important question. How do you change different Time Signatures ? Where are they located at inside of the MPCX And The Software? Not talking about Time Correction I’m talking about Time Signatures like your 3/4. 6/8 and Other’s.

I'm trying to figure out why Akai is not adding the Digital I/O's on all their new products? I grip the concept a lot of people export directly into DAW's, but us Stand alone Studio Owner's bought Digital Patch bay's for a reason...

Because they don't want your music to sound better than theirs!! I hate these companies for taking away digital inputs on these multitrack recorders. Duh that's why we don't use computer, because we hate them while tracking!! I use an old tascam neo with digital inputs so I go in digital and avoid the crappy converters. The neo would be perfect but they left out automated mixing so they killed the perfect machine cause they don't want us to be happy and need us to suffer in the frustration like them pulling their hair out coming up with these machines. If this mpc x had 24 audio tracks digital in and plug in compatibility it would be end of story. But they don't want us to be that happy because then they would be jealous because they are miserable fools!!! Why is it little old me or you who is not an akai engineer can think of how to make there tablebeast proper and a godsend. Oh well maybe in a hundred more years they will get it right.

@@neptunesgold1216 We need to make our need for Digital I/O apparent!!! AKAI is the leader in Midi Production, so it's only right to have the best options on there Flagship items... I'm still using a MPC Ren due to that 2.9 software, but I need the digital I/O option

From visiting the Akai forum, it's very apparent that the X and Live MPCs have issues with latency and DAW communication. Has this been addressed by an update yet or are these boxes to be considered standalone only?

Lost me soon as he started talking about clips....

Why isthere no proper review of this product been searching over an hour now. Everyone just sample older records or making beats and not telling us much about the Mpc x itself. Wow people are dumb sometimes. Wanna know if it's really good. Don't so much show your work and leave out talking about the Device we are interested in. Close up view of the product. I think people these day are lost and their brain have been hijacked by the government, media and I don't know what? Can someone make a video about this product and show us around, but not make like companies do it. But a real person's or real users perceptive. How hard is that? You Mpc X owners out there read this and respond. And We will like.

Check out Popo’s reviews, he’s legit. I got my hands on one finally, and yeah, it looks SOOoOOO much more quality in person! Online the sides look like plastic. Maybe they are, but in person, it looks more and feels like aluminum. Screen is more colorful than the Live perhaps. And those encoders are everything you dream they are ... they change to match what you’re looking at, change to value view as soon as your finger gets close, etc. was thinking they might suck but they’re awesome.

I agree!!! There is no definitive instructional vids on how to or what this machine is really capable of! Especially for the price of it, I expected a lil more.

This is stupid. I see no ability to bring in VI's and leverage 3rdparty plugins. It's all their stuff. What if I hate the kits? What if I want that sound that they don't have from any number of soft synths? Who would spent ANY amount of money a on a piece like this? It's dated the moment you buy it.

worst presentation almost ever.

No architecture. Wasted my time. Begin with architecture....how many tracks, what is the maximum number of bars(measures), what is the maximum sample size, what is the maximum sample storage, what is the polyphony....and more more more. Your demo demonstrated only what just about all beat boxes can do for far less money. I bought my first Akai product a year ago, and know have little faith in this company, and this demo is not helping. This demo just lets us know you're a corporation, just buy it without knowing what it is.
