I have been using Akai AMX since the first day it hit stores. I have used it many videos and different style gigs big n small. lately it has had a few obstacles.

good video, but i'm not able to do that trick you show of using the amx as a serato dj activation for another controller. the controller will control things, but the output is disabled on both controllers. did you do anything else?

Numark Mixtrack Platinum with Serato Intro ... Akai AMX with Serato DJ DVS upgrade paired with either 2 Numark PT-01 (or new Scratch variant) or 2 Pioneer PLX-500 turntables and 2 Reloop Neons ... although by the time you purchased all that you could just buy a better controller like a Pioneer DDJSX2 or Denon MC7000 for Serato DJ

You can also get the Serato remote for Ipad of Iphone for $20 bucks and then you can have a nice small set up

This very complete Traktor mapping adds 3x shift combination to enable all-in-one functionality: 4x decks, 6x hot cues, Loops, 5x insta-FX pages, “super cross fader”. My own upcoming extension adds Beatjump, Loop roll, Selectable FX control, Zoom + Layout changes, Library adv browsing. maps.djtechtools.com/mappings/4397
