Having been in office since 2014, Modi’s rule has catapulted India to greater prominence on the global stage. Many equate his policy agendas to robust economic growth, tackling corruption, and putting “India first.” On the other hand, Modi’s administration has been criticised for mishandling a growing discontent within the agricultural sector, instigating conflict between religious groups, and failing to revitalise the health and education sectors. Against the backdrop of ever-strong popularity among voters, it is imperative to discuss whether the BJP’s direction under Modi has been more polarising than unifying. The question then becomes: what (or who) is the right path for India as it surges ahead into the future?

Your counter arguments would be "wHat aBoUt InDiRA GanDhI's eMerGency?" You justifying BJP's dictatorial behavior because of a past wrongdoing is absolutely crazy. Both are wrong but the difference is we cannot change the past but we can change the future. I am not a congress supporter. India has achieved historic rise for gas users , food distribution and electricity with water to 99% in villages. Advanced transport can hygienic 10million toilets for women honor with their family. AIIMS HOSPITALS, MEDICAL COLLEGES HAVE DOUBLED. Generic medicines 10,000 manufacturers have made it affordable for all. 500k medical insurance for poor and all. This is not my words, 3-4 monts back a survey was published in the leading newspaper. That's why she is considered as hunger country not on the basis of wellfare schemes which offer staple food to 81 crore families. One may survive on PDS food but not be considered as healthy.

There is one important issue which was missed by all these debaters and that is defense! Through the progress in science and technology, India under Modi has become much stronger. Previous government, i.e. Congress had divided and let go Indian land.
A simple search will show maternal mortality was already 97 in 2018-2020 so by now probably even lower, and he's saying its been stagnant at 133. He and the organization whose statistic he is quoting, both are paid by the same people. Global Hunger Index is run by two independent NGOs, while UNICEF india says the maternal mortality is 97. Yet he chooses GHI.
