Not sure on the frame, it’s easier to do during the 4x4 conversion

look for guys that advertise undercoating/rust prevention, and ask them if they do media blasting. Not sandblasting. 🤙

Magnificent build, as always. I thought only the diesels required a shortened fuel tank? Do the V10's require fuel tank shortening too due to its longer block length? And what are those driver side lowering shackles you mentioned? Are they a "streamlining" improvement to keep the shackle bolts from hanging down less than before? And with only 24K miles, why would you bother to rebuild the transmission?

Thanks! All midship fuel tanks need to be shortened unless its a late model 5.4 with the plastic tank. The D side lower u-bolt plate is out of production with Ford so we had it re created. same as stock, just new and cooler :) The transmission needs a full teardown to be made 4wd so we always do a full rebuild at that time.

@@ujointoffroad Thanks for the info on the fuel tank. I have an '09 with a plastic tank and was wondering how I would cut a piece off. 🤣

I like that it sits a little taller in back than usual. Most of the builds, including mine, look like they sit higher in front. Must be the new Alcan springs.

You said you don't so pre 2000 conversions, but you do. Why only certain pre 2000 builds and not others?

Shocked to see another B190, but pleasantly surprised. So, if potential customer has a low mileage '99, you still might do the conversion?
