Airplane aborted landing - wildebeest on runway - Grumeti Airstrip Serengeti in Tanzania, Africa. This is a Auric Air Cessna Model no 208, that aborted their landing due to wild animals, these wildebeest that were taking part in the great migration. Apparently planes crash due to animals on the runway quite a bit in Africa, so it is very dangerous, of course. To be honest, not sure if this is Grumeti airstrip or another small air field. It was a few hours away from The Sound of Silence lodge, out towards the Grumeti river, but heck, I was so take in awe by such a safari that I often had no idea where I was, only that I was eye-ball to eye-ball with lions, leopard, elephants and Buch craft almost crashing due to wildebeest on the runways!

This craft or airplane circled around and landed safely right after this. They dropped off a couple from South Africa, while another couple waited in the plane. Then took off immediately again, up high into the blue skies above the wildebeest filled Serengeti plains!
