Aircraft Design Workshop: Fundamentals of Aircraft Aerodynamics
Would you like to learn how to design an unmanned, radio-controlled aircraft using revolutionary cloud-native simulation software?
SimScale and the American Institute of Astronautics and Aeronautics joined forces to offer a workshop about the application of engineering simulation in unmanned aircraft design. In the first session, we study the aerodynamics of an aircraft in order to increase lift and decrease drag.

Its 12:15 am and I've decided to design and create my own jet fighter wish me luck boys
This was so irritating I had to quit. The plan for the presentation was fine. Unfortunately, the presenter talked about capabilities he wasn't demonstrating at a pace that was unintelligible. He started with a completely meshed model, the creation of which was a major purpose for the video. You may have more patience than I, but I'd recommend a pass on this one.
I have no idea what I am watching. It's great.
You don’t hear that everyday!
Alright, no offence, but I think I would rather team myself the host's native language and have him explain this in his native language because it is getting to be next to impossible for me to follow what's going on as the video goes on.
The authors have two wrong scientific approaches: researching the creation of Lift force and Low pressure at upper side of the wing, relative to the ground surface and Earth. I explain the aerodynamic cavitation and existence of Lee side aerocavern, and creation of Aerodynamic force.
Fantastic video! Thank you very much! Could you let us know your e-mail and where can we find the presentation you have used in the video?
UAV inbound
will you still answer questions?
Why are we talking about 20 degrees AoA? This is beyond the critical AoA of almost all airfoils.
Thank you for the great workshop!
Sharing knowledge is great wise, tnxs alot
Great tutorial... Thanks for sharing!
I loved the theory that backed up the whole simulation of creating mesh. Thanks. That was quite useful.
thanks we need more such videos
Its a Pioneer!
Great channel
Thanks for made great video! It's useful
Our club AEROVJTI from VJTI College was 7th in AIAA competition in 2017 and 1st in design report
