I still have yet to find a clipper that beats Flatline by Submission audio. That thing has option to go all the way up to 128X in oversampling.

Missed opportunity to say that it 'clips hard'. :D Which it very much does!

The RELEASE knob seems like an attack-release knob: the longer the release, the longer the attack.

From your profiling of these products, I have learnt that every clipper brings something to the party. It's not just about having one favourite, but several in the toolkit. This one sounds great. I feel a trial coming on! Thanks, David.

@@mixbustvso I’m in the market for the lavry gold sounds and the fruity loops soft clipper sound but I’m torn now for the lavry sound should I just get Gold Clip or should I get Acoustica Ash (I believe it has the lavry preset) and for the fruity loops sound should I get Air soft clipper or Orange clip

David, how does it compare to the Kazrog one that you are a fan of? And Standardclip?

Kclip is cleaner, not as loud. I have standardclip but tbh I never use it

So I got this without demoing after watching this. It's actually difficult to make material sound good with it. Schwabe, flatline, mcdsp, Boz, kazrog, softtube clippers/saturizers etc etc, all a joy and easy to use. This thing just sounds harsh to my ears.

Orange is different from any other clipper. No other clipper has the curve and the frequency response of that one has. Which means, they're not swappable. When you want THAT sound, that orange clipper only. So, if you don't want that inflated lows and sink'd mids, you need another one, like this one.

This makes the combo. With another couple of clippers/limiters we have a new loudness monster

Beware of Air - when you load an Air plug-in your have to log on to your Air account. Then every time you open a project that includes Air plugins you have to repeat the process. Total ball ache.

Hi, David! Just a quick question out of curiosity. You try and analyze lots of plugins, and you work on so much material. I wonder how many terabytes of disk space do you have altogether to fit in all of these stuff :) I guess everything together occupy at least 4-6 TBs if not more. Sorry if you've already answered this question in a Q&A or something I didn't notice. I just want some perspective what does it take to be an awesome producer and youtuber as you.
