Based on some of the early reviews I’ve seen...so much negativity on these from the 45 on the back, the high patent leather cut, and the overall quality of the shoe...nice to see a sneaker head actually appreciate the shoe for what it is and recognizing the history of the shoe. Great content bro.

The Jordan XI (Concord ['11] and Space Jam ['09]) was the shoe that got me into sneakers so it will always have a soft spot. However I still have my first pair and I can't currently condone buying the new release. The "45" is sick, but I'm good with my 2011 pair haha.

This is the first video I’ve ever seen of yours and it popped up in my suggested, gave it a shot lookin for new sneaker content and I subscribed instantly. Fantastic stuff.

That was only Game 1. After that MJ went on to average 31 a game and that Bulls team could have very well beaten that Magic squad. Fast forward to the next year we all know what happened. Good vid as always and appreciate the insights and history of the shoe.

The clip you're talking about when Ahmad Rashaad showed off the OG Concords was from the Saturday morning show "NBA: Inside Stuff" dang I loved that show!

I love the notation of the multiple pairs of Space Jams explaining that the pairs had multiple versions- Jumpman, Jumpman Jam, Space Jam/ etc.

Very nice. I noticed that my pair from SNKRS has thin padding around the ankle. My win like 82/96 has better padding. Either way i still love them. I’ve been wanting a pair since 2011.

i still remember i was in Taiwan in 95 when people camped out two three days before the release day in front of the stores and when i saw them on some other kid's foot i was like "i must have those in the future. the 2000's came around and i'm in US, i waited in line for hours and by the time they got to me they were out of my size. luckily the employee at Athlete's Foot back then got on the phone and ordered a pair for me from Eastbay. As much as i want these i don't know if i'll buy'em, i'm more into my other hobby in collecting MCU figures now.

I absolutley had to get these OG Concords. And the 45 makes them more rare and special because it was the number MJ came back with. This is truely the Holy Grail of all Jordan shoes and if you didnt or couldnt get a pair i fwel sorry for you because you will never see these again. I still own my OGs from 1996. Now they've been wore and are a size 10, dont fit me anymore. But they are archived, I'll never get rid of them, keep sake item. They are the Bred colorway. Remember wearing them for my High school graduation. C/O 96' My major problem with retros is they dont fit or are near as comfortable as the original.

Boyz2men had them on at the grammy's and I had to have them. (Finals came in too late for me back then.) I wanted them for Xmas but both of my parents with my step parents were expecting in mid-late November so Xmas that year was going to be tight in perpetuation for my brothers. Luckily my grandparents came through with what I wanted, because I wanted to sacrifice my whole Christmas for the J's. My dad's parents got me the concord, and with my mother's parents got me MK3(which was the only other thing I wanted that year), chrono trigger, and donkey kong country 2!

Midnight navy 11’s dulled this day down to me some. I’ve been wanting these so bad but when the ‘82’s came out last year, they satisfied me. These are way better and original and I bought them but still. They shouldn’t have brought he midnight navy’s out until after the concords.

This and the Air Jordan 1 Breds will always be tied as the most iconic shoe of Jordan Brand and part of the Top 10 Greatest Sneakers of All Time.

Collabs should never be considered shoe of the year

I remember when these dropped in 95. Sat for a bit. People didn't know what to make of the patent leather. I gt some hate back then in NYC for wearing them (nothing to do with the stupid Knicks) just confusion about the patent. I'm kinda shocked it's become THE most sought after J. Especially after the initial reaction back in the day.

I was in the service, stationed in Japan when they dropped in 95. Slept on the Concord, picked up the breds instead. Got my first pair of Concords today. Hmmm...23 years later.

+Robert Patterson no different than people calling the White/Red 12 "cherry 12's. I've been saying this for years that the history and obvious color blocking of that shoe is to match the bulls colorway with the Japanese flag. Which is why I call the White and Red 12 the Japan 12. And if we are going by the name on the shoe box it clearly says VARSITY RED NOT CHERRY.

The Concords were awesome, I remember I couldn't get one when it first came out, but I got the Jason kidd zoom airs which were a great shoe to ball with, so I was happy still :-) if I got the Concords it wouldn't have lasted anyways hehe

Really...I don't have no problems with the 45 in the back...it looks really great with it. However the 23 it, I love them all. But as the years go by there will be upgrades. I have the 2018 and received the 2016 space jam yesterday so I'm out to get all the OG's soon.
