Congratulations on graduating!!!! I truly appreciate this information! My daughter left for AFB on the 25th of March and called me today briefly from someone else's phone. She said that she didn't have much time to talk but told me that they changed the airmens' run from Thursday 23rd of May to Tuesday 21st and then I asked her how she was doing and she started crying. 😢 She said, mom I have to go now. I told her to stay encouraged and that she will get through it. I'm so worried because I can't do anything! 😩 I'm hoping she is just overwhelmed with adjusting and her emotional state will level out soon. It's so hard because I can't talk with her everyday to see how she is doing. I'm praying for her daily.

@@sandyromero5325 Yeah i chickedn out a few times myself, but now i'm in so much college debt that its probably my best option. 21 isn't too bad, i almost joined at 21. I think once youre 23-25+ you start feeling much older because officers are going to be younger than me now.

i graduated bmt a week after you and i actually saw you while i was there (but didn’t say anything lol). congratulations!

Congrats for passing bmt!!!! I'm excited for u!! I am wanting to join the AF but I have a tattoo on my hand that I am getting lasered off before I can join. I've done 4 sessions and have 2 more to go. Then I'm hoping I can talk to a recruiter again! :)

I was in BMT from August to October of 2012. I was also in the 323rd, but the old dorms. We had to march everywhere and go around all the construction so we ended up being the farthest squadron from basically everything. And it was so hot. Never had felt sweat drip down my back until then. Lol 😂 Congratulations!

I got called up to the "snake pit" in the chow hall in BMT. I had hemmed my pants too short. The TI demanded a 341 form. I had my tray in my hands (both hands) at the time so I set the tray down on THEIR table to reach for the 341 in my pocket. Big mistake. I got chewed out for that too. Not a good day...

Little late to the party, but dude. You are amazing for putting these videos up! I'm in the process of enlisting in the Air Force and about to take the asvab. Like you, I'm in my mid 20s, which concerned me a little. I'm more excited than nervous, or scared, about joining, now, and this video definitely calms down my moms nerves a little. Thank you!

I'm going to Air Force basic training in July this year and even though I am not from the US and, therefore, my BT is going to be very different, I appreciate the videos very much. I'm also a little bit older than the girls/recruits usually are, but I've been wanting this since forever and this year I finally get to do it.
