Air Compressor Install - Rear Drawer Wing

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Today I walk you through how I installed this neat ARB air compressor in the wing of the Titan Drawers in my 105 series cruiser! Everything I used in this video is easily accessible in your back yard or down at the local hardware store- and it looks neat!

    That’s great to hear! They’re a neat set of drawers I reckon. If everything’s tight they’re actually quiet and good to use. Thanks for the kind words mate 👍👍

    Solid xontent bro. Giving me ideas for when i get my draws. One thing bro is when you fold the back seats down, are the seats levelled with the draws ? As when i go camping i like to put a mattress down and sleep in the back. Cheers mate keep up the good content

    Cheers for the kind words! Yes they are almost perfectly level with the drawers, however there is a gap of about 20cm between the drawers and seats you will want to fill to sleep comfortably. I used to put a cushion in there or something just so my hips or knees weren’t falling into the hole

    Great video, how did you end up mounting the ARB hose outlet with out it moving

  • @WillsLandcruiser

    @WillsLandcruiser

    I know I didn’t show it heaps well in that video, but the thread on the back of the outlet poked through the water bottle base and I could screw a brass tail onto that nice and tight and it sits really firm

    That’s definitely the plan sometime soon! I technically don’t have a video really comparing NA to tuned and turbocharged so I do need to get one of those out. I’ve been waiting for the wind to drop off here in SA so I can get an accurate comparison 😂😂

    Nice vid, we're 105 -1HZ brothers 😂....I just got my ARB air lockers installed last week and I'm waiting for the weekend to do my compressor. Here's the rig ibb.co/vwSWf2D, it's 2005 with air lockers, Powerful rear bar, ARB winch bar into brush bars and side steps, redarc brake controller, dual batteries, SS commodore leather seats on custom seat rails, custom stainless 4" snorkel and some other stuff underneath, adjustable panhard rods etc. Just waiting to get a new set of tyres and get my heavy duty clutch in and I'm ready to roll again :) Def gonna turbo it this summer after seeing your vids. Great work!!!

    Nice rig mate! 😍 especially love the offset rims and how you’ve tinted the windows and gone for altezza blacked out headlights. Very tidy indeed! If you turbo it and get a safe tune, you’ll never look back. It’s the best thing I ever did to my rig!

    Hey mate what guage wire did you run back? Cheers

  • @WillsLandcruiser

    @WillsLandcruiser

    2 жыл бұрын

    It was definitely bigger than what I needed. Probably close to 10mm. If i was going to run it again, I would have matched the wire that came with the compressor which was more like 7mm

    @@WillsLandcruiser okay thanks mate I ordered some 8 b&s (the size smaller than my dcdc charger uses) and was hoping that would be plenty cheers.

  • @WillsLandcruiser

    @WillsLandcruiser

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@MrBillyr7 yeah I reckon that’ll be fine 👍 as long as it is the same or bigger than the wire that is attached to the compressor. They’re pretty high-amp units but there’s no need for overkill big either

    From work. It’s a generic brass tail. Can’t remember the size exactly… maybe 1/2 inch? Or smaller
