Starting from the beginning of your channel - came over from your recent collabs. Thank you for sharing so vulnerably and openly, Aimee - I was an oncology social worker for many years and worked with young adults with cancer. Sharing your story makes others feel less alone and helps people pay more attention to what their bodies are telling them to help with early detection. You are a beautiful soul. 💕🙏🏻

Just came across your channel on facebook, where you say not to go too far back on the old videos because it's embarrassing. Naturally, I looked for the oldest videos and this is the first one I watched. I just wanted to say how amazing you are, and how much this video will really help others going through the same thing. Its such and honest account of your experience, which had me in tears when you wrote 'i love you mum'. From a fellow south-walian (if that's how you spell it) I wish you both lots of luck on your travels! Have the best time making the greatest memories. Stay safe both x

I was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer 10 years ago, and 8 years ago was diagnosed with a form of Leukaemia which the Oncy said was caused by the first Chemo. I am still here too and grateful for every day. Also have grown to love wigs. Take care, thank you for sharing.

Aimee, you're such an amazing person. You have been through so much fighting cancer at such a young age and I completely empathize with you. I believe the people who supported you and loved you, along with your wonderful spirit, got you through this. Please do not feel guilty for surviving, because you will give so many other people fighting blood cancers hope of perseverance through the hard times. I have been on the international bone marrow registry for blood cancers since I was 16 years old. When I was 14 my closest cousin, Sean, passed away from leukemia after a 7-year battle with cancer. He was just shy of his 16 birthday. I was by his side as much as I could be to keep him company, entertained, and holding his hand when he passed away. It was the worst day of my life. However, not a day goes by without me thinking of Sean. I am so happy and proud of you for your strong heart and courage to take on the big C and kick its ass! You're a true inspiration and such a wonderful person. Evie and I love watching your vlogs, which is really helping us get through our quarantine. I look forward to watching the rest of your KZread videos during this strange time for humanity. Peace, Love, and Empathy!

I'm just speechless. Thank you for sharing. Before I became a video editor, I worked as a nurse aid in pediatrics, palliative care specifically, for a couple of years so you know...yes it was freaking hard to let children ''go'' when you took care of them for a long time, but I've never seen so many smiles and positivity in my life at the same time. Made my complaints about a cold I could get really insignificant haha Continue to be strong, girl :) You seem to be so full of joy(at least, from what we see :P) and continue to be that way, it's beautiful to see :)

When I find a you tuber or plural that i like, i always go back to thir first ever video to see how crap it was. Somehow I think that itll give me the confidence to post my first video. I know how crap that is going to be. This is the second time I've watched this video. The first time I was in a flood of tears and watched happier videos of yours to counteract the sadness and disbelief I felt from watching this. Again, I'm upset that this happened but happy that you've beaten the big C and you've ruled your own world and still ruling it with Craig. He's a decent lad! You're an inspiration Aimee. Here I am with my health and having lost a lot of family to cancer I've not been kinging it. Now is the time. Thank you. Stay well, you and that devilishly handsome lad of yours!

Was in Koh Phangan in 1990 for Had rin and then the full moon party was a couple hundred people and 2 speakers on the beach, they just got electricity and there was one phone in the island where the ferry arrived. How did I get here, from custard the bus, cool Craig & amusing, whacky Aimee In France, as I live a couple of hours up the road from Bordeaux. I suspected the motivation for the bright, bubbly, zest attitude to life was from a personal catastrophe. Now I know ! I've had Lupus (autoimmune) since I was 9 and I'm 29 now but over the 20 years I've been on and off chemo constantly and they had since diagnosed me with 4 more autoimmune diseases!! I've been getting IV treatments every month since my diagnosis so in 2018 after 3 nurses, 2 nurse practitioners, and 14 sticks later of trying to start my IV, they booked me for surgery to get a MedPort put in my chest to continue my treatments!! It's honestly been a life saver because my veins got so bad that they would literally bend catheters trying to thread a vein from all the built up scar tissue in my arms!! I also had a Make A Wish when I was in 10th grade and I got to go on a shopping spree!!

@@JJamJ thank you!! It's definitely been an uphill battle over the past 20 years since my original Lupus diagnosis!! I've currently been struggling the most with my teeth that have mostly all fallen out because of my Sjogrens Syndrome, as well as 20+ years of steroid treatments for my Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis!! I'm also scheduled to get 3 more nerves burned in my right lower back before the end of the year!! I've already had 3 nerves burned in my left lower back twice and 3 more nerves burned in the right side of my neck twice as well!!

At 12:34, the friend you lost. She had brain cancer? She has redeye only in one eye which is generally an indication of that. It's either both eyes or neither unless they have brain cancer or a tumor. Watch for that when you see photos and do let someone know if you see redeye only in one eye that they need to get checked right away. Been subbed a good while but had never gone back to the beginning to hear the origin story. You two are such amazing people. May your joy for living never end and last a hundred years.

Found this one only now. Cancer is a beast that knows no mercy and is no respctor of persons or age. Mother has non-hodgekins Lymphoma. Chemo and radiation was a damn sight worse than the cancer. But she is still alive today at 87.

I wonder how the pain of cancer really feels? 😢☹☹☹ never had cancer in my life before... I was very sick in 2018 I lost my voice I had the pink eye I believe. I had a horrible strong cold tbh I was dying from this illness cuz I wasn't recovering it took weeks for to get better. I think I had pneumonia or walking pneumonia last year. Had horrible puss in my eyes and in my lungs kind of couldn't breath my mom said it wasn't but I feel like it was cuz of all the puss in me ☹
