This lady has really impressive pitch. Equally impressive is she can still sing this song in its original key in her mid-50s.

This song... those 80s...It's worth being old now to have been young then...

Her voice is as amazing now as it was in 1985. She is incredible.

I’ve listened to this song for decades and can honestly say it’s only gotten better

OMG..this song still resonates... I am 54 and I remember when I saw this on MTV...I LOVED Til Tuesday....and now Aimee Mann (same-ish)!

My goodness have the years been kind to her. In both her voice holding up and not looking as one may think she would after 32 years.

I was a kid in the 80's, and first heard Aimee on Rush's "Time Stand Still". Then I discovered Til Tuesday. It's awesome to hear this wiser version now.

Never ever a dumb song, an important song. I was 11 when this song came out, still listening/loving today💗

Thirty years on neither she nor the song has aged. So cool.

I hear this song at the grocery store a lot. Never get tired of it.

Rick Rodriguez I've only heard it at the grocery store once. It was 2 days after I recorded this. I ran into her at a cafe the morning after her Bethlehem, NH show (the following evening). I stopped at the grocery store on the way home and and just froze in disbelief when it came on. Wild that I saw her 3 days in a row in NH and hours later in VT I hear the original recording being played. Sometimes the universe just lines up in surprising ways.

She's amazing and this song she should be extremely proud of because if you grew up in the 80s everyone felt like this song was special along with Aimee and her band. Great performance.

She is so funny and unassuming. And such an effortless beauty. If you ever get the chance to see her live, GO!

I am 15 and have grown up listening to Aimee Mann and Till Tuesday. I saw her for the first time a few weeks ago and she was so incredible!

I loved her in the 80s when I was a kid and I love her today… No one like Aimee and her minty cool voice!

Just saw Aimee perform last night. Was not expecting her to play this song but she ended encore with it. Felt genuine chills and tingles while she sang this. Aimee remains an amazing talent and song writer. Glad to have finally seen her perform.

Ok I think the jury is in about her ageless beauty and voice. I'm glad so many of you have enjoyed this video. She is incredibly talented. I'm still in awe every time I see her in concert.

I have to honestly say I AM amazed...I was born in 1983...and she was already a young woman making hits THEN! Yet I have to say that she's still incredibly pretty...and that voice has not changed a BIT...😮👍

One of my favourite songs of my teenage years of the 80 s she is still so beautiful ageless and still has a great voice.

Wow she's really maintained her youthful looks and voice, I am flabbergasted.

Respectfully to Aimee Man I never thought “Voice ‘s Carry” was a dumb song. For me it was a song about oppression which empowered me as a young woman at that time in my life. I loved the music and I loved your vocals then and I really loved the acoustic version of this song as well. So thank you for this song and may the good spirits always be with you!♥️✌️

I think she only said "parts of it", but I don't know what part she didn't like in retrospect. I think she strives for perfection because she cares about her art. At least she's honest with her audiences, which I admire.

It's certainly an iconic video. MTV and VH1 got a lot of mileage out of it.

I fell in Love with Aimee 30 years ago. Never fell out.

I met her back in 1985 in Beaverton Oregon at a Tower records store with the rest of til Tuesday. She looks fantastic today!!!!

For those of us that heard the original recording, but had no access to the video, this medium has been so outstanding words fail to convey they importance. My house burned in a wildfire this year (we lost literally everything) and I am blessed to have the love of my life through 3 decades with me through the process of rebuilding. This song reminds me of how extraordinarily blessed I am. Thank you.

The amount of times I had to rewind this because I was so blown away by the beauty of this angelic performance. She is a musical genius.

I saw her in 1989 at Rhode Island College. The cafeteria which doubled as a stage, so it was a small venue. This song and her voice were made for a more acoustic setting, not a huge concert hall. Another underappreciated talent.

Wow. She looks and sounds fantastic. I love the added complexity of her voice now, compared to 1985. This was the song that got me started listening to Aimee Mann.

I was in an abusive relationship when this song came out.i thought I was going crazy but these lyrics described my situation perfectly. It helped me see more clearly thank god!.

She seems like a great person with an excellent sense of humor. She makes appearances in "Portlandia" and it's great. I just watched the clip of her performing this song many years ago..when we were all young...stunningly beautiful. And is now as well with that crystal clear voice.

Love this version! It really captures the greatness and timelessness of the song. This song could be released now and still be amazing!

Last time I saw Aimee Mann was on vh1’s Where Are They Now? After 36 years, her voice and age have held up well.

Her gifts are countless. An amazing and mysterious voice, a fantastic writer and she inhabits the trials of being human with astounding lightness.

The original video still gives me chills. The final scene in "Carnegie" is wonderful and powerful. A woman standing up for herself, literally.

She was 56 during the filming of this show. Absoultely beautiful woman! The years have been very kind to her.
