She is just one of those vocalists who oozes soul. I'm lucky enough to have been a fan since debut and Heaven is still one of my favourite kpop songs of all time. I love the resonance she has when she holds those lower notes. Not many vocalists have as much range and consistency as Ailee. You can see why when Mamamoo debuted they were nicknamed "4 Ailees"

Oh, I'm so glad you are discovering queen Ailee. I highly recommend the Immortal Songs King of Kings show (2 episodes, I think) with her and ATEEZ, among other great performances. She blew everyone away with her live performance there. When she said she was possessed by Kim Shin, she's referring to the main character in the drama Goblin (aka Guardian: The Lonely and Great God), because she was about to sing her OST from the drama. Highly recommend watching that drama if you can. Elements of historical, fantasy, romance and comedy, plus a bromance between a goblin and a grim reaper that is beloved by fans. So good.

OMG recently watched that myself... With no disrespect to Queen Whitney, those high notes are child's play for Ailee 🙈 I'm Sorry Whitney May you Rest In Peace!!!! Ailee's vocal range will rival both Mariah and Whitney and she makes it look effortless, mind you Whitney could make her high notes seem effortless too... I would have loved a duet with these top tier Divas harmonizing at the top of their lungs! Talent is Talent, Whitney and Ailee both had/have the whole package, Beauty and a voice that will blow your mind!
