Ever since I did my deep dive into BTS two years ago and became ARMY, I have been trying to tell people who dismiss BTS as a boy band that they are far bey6ond that shallow designation and all they have to do to realize it is watch t6hem dance, read their lyrics, and listen to the rap line. I never cared about rap before I fell in love with BTS. Now I hang on their every word. Dunno if anyone mentioned this, but the two "fighting guys" at the start of the vid are Jin and JK doing a cameo....

I think in an interview Suga said the king represents his prior self motivated by ego and materialism this is about his staying humble, fighting the king. He realized that what's most important is being yourself. Or something like that

This is all Suga's creation from top to bottom. The mv production is all his concept and even the budget for it is all from his own pocket since this is not in the BTS album. That's why he is using his name Agust D.

If support anyone you get more and more information.. not only me but also all fans know it.. The list of Suga as a composer and producer and the list of RM as a producer.. also as coproducer as UGH.. net is full of it.. but it is true that RM and Suga didn't get enough recognition for their production ability.. They are genius really

@@nuhkyah23 no no.. most of rapline songs which we think is a masterpiece, rejected by company (I don't know why) so they released it freely.. that's why it is hard to get official information.. I understand you. Because I faced the same situation. Then being old fan for several years we know more even they don't want.. that's why Suga started produce for others.. because his dream was to be famous producer however since 2016 his many rejected by HYBE.. also Outro tear, shadow written and composed for all members and albom, but rejected.. also DDEANG.. I proud of him proving himself as a composer and producer

yet again Yoongi left me speechless and showed me why he is my ultimate bias wrecker, also he showed me again why he is my all time number 1 favourite rapper in the entire music industry and that British and American rappers should follow his lead.also Yoongi and Jimin are the only members to have me breathless, and making me cry as well as shaking my head, im so hyped up that I so was not ready for this and even after a million times watching this Mv im still not ready and ever since listening to AustD's first mix tape I new I would never be the same also to me in my opinion (not hating on Eminem) but Yoongi is a way better rapper I just hope one day we get a collab between these 2 rappers.also on a side note us army's need a studio version of Tony Montana

Jin's songs epiphany and moon, Jimin's songs serendipity and promise. V's songs singularity and stigma. And Jungkook's songs euphoria and begin. You can never go wrong with any of the choices.

I love when people react to this song! Great reaction! This was the song that made by boyfriend a Kpop fan. Before this song, he stubbornly told me Kpop was just for girls. He's defintiely changed his opinion and now he's listening to a lot of different songs and groups. So yeah, this one really is special to me.

This MV was my introduction to the world of kpop. I saw it within minutes of it releasing, it was my very first video and Min Yoongi will my forever bias because of it, he was an ambassador. 💜💜💜 I just love all of them

Your comment about all the rap/hip-hop in American being so much about sex/drugs/violence is spot on! How many female rap songs are about what's between our legs??? My God, it's so ridiculous.... It's why I only listen to BTS' rap and hip-hop. First, the Korean language just goes so well with rap, but also because BTS' rap-song subject matter is so much better than American rap. Danny Kim didn't mention that 2 BTS members made a cameo in the MV, Jin & Jungkook. They were the men who ended up fighting in the alley after Suga bumped onto Jin & as he turned to look back at Suga, Jin, hit Jungkook on the head with what seems to be a fishing rod and JK retaliated and they had a scuffle. There is another explanation video by a channel called BOOKISH THEORIES that you can check out maybe in the comfort of your own time. I found both explanation videos extremely well done. For example the gun used at the end is called ARMY Colt 1860 or something like that. And of course ARMY is the name of BTS’ fandom.

I don’t think he produced Ugh but he did produce Ddaeng (another rap line only song) which I don’t think you’ve reacted to yet. His two mixtapes ‘Agust D ‘ (2016) and ‘D-2’ (2020) are self produced though. He also produces for other artists and sometimes features in them.

Cool details: The executioner is actually the butcher from the opening scenes where lower class Suga walks the streets - this is a plot long in the making. ;) And the two guys who start a fight in the street after poor Suga bumps into them are a disguised Jin (with a beard) and Jungkook, who showed up for a cameo to support their friend.

FYI, Suga actually comes from a Royal linage. Another fun fact, he can spit 80 words in 6.6secs.

@S Y The King is representative of the haters BTS has had and continues to have. They are all very humble and would never think of themselves above just over material things. At the very start of their career while filming American Hustle in LA a homeless man advised them not to ever let fame and money go to their head and to be successful in performing they had to become whatever they were singing. No Suga was never consumed by material things.

There are a lot of possible meanings here & I don't actually think this one is the one Suga primarily intended! Personally I love all the layers and I keep coming back to this one again and again and finding more in it.

I did'nt mention any names at all. But since you bring up juice wrld I have never heard him glorify drugs and encouraged people to do them. But If he did then that would be horrible (regardless of how awesome he is musically) but I personally have'nt heard him do that. If he does'nt make drugs sound cool and fun then he's alright.

@@BrandonFaul No I was referring to how there have been "others" that have try to call bs on the rapline mentioning pill-poppers yet they had a relationship with Juice Wrld since they know that he had addiction issues. "Outsiders" (as referred by BTS & ARMY) like to as mentioned I'm Ugh! like to find any possible way to spin 💩 around on The Guys. I've nvr know Juice Wrld to make light of his battles w/addiction or use it in a negative manor. I was just stating that it has been a common misconception or misunderstanding when it comes to The Guys view on the subject.

BTW, Knox Hill does a way better breakdown of this song. Just saying.
