We have a saying inside Army that goes: You don't find BTS. BTS finds you when you need the most. They found me in the middle of the pandemic. Lost my job, and was deep in depression. So deep that I had thoughts about just ending at all... They made me smile, feel joy and made me believe that are still good people in this world. Through them I made some of the most amazing friends. ARMY feels when you are sincere and help you through it all. I was one of the lives that BTS and ARMY saved. I will be forever grateful.

Let me tell you, you will NEVER see a more relatable group than BTS. They are seriously just a bunch of goofy funny guys. They are all so incredibly talented and bring their on color and style to the group. They deserve every single praise and award they get. They are so supportive of each other and just well rounded. They had it tough, but they made it. That’s why you speak their name with respect.

It will be useful for you to know that in Korea, names like Kim Namjoon are structured where Kim is the surname and Namjoon is his given name :)

Guides for whatever reason never seem to explain this so most reactors get this wrong. Though if you read the subtitles in the clips for the guides the other members call them by the first names and some of the stage names are their first names so you could work it out really, but I guess there just so much to take in at once!

That video of Army singing to them at Wembley wrecks me every time. It wasn’t on the set list. They came out and it just happened. Jimin, JK, and JHope couldn’t hold it together. This group and their fans are like nothing I’ve seen in my 50 years on this planet.

Great reaction. Your buddy J hope just played a solo set at lollapolza. Jimin came to support him as a surprise. On bangtantv you can see his whole hour set and you can find his vlive right after with eng sub. It was historic and just awesome

What you hear background music throughout the video are all their songs. They have around 300+ songs in all kind of genes and their B-sides songs are even more grate and have deep meanings that people can relate to.

To add to your comment @ 51:10, I think the reason it hit them so hard is because they are a Korean band, singing in Korean and here at Webley stadium a bunch of Europeans, non-Korean speakers are singing back to them in their own language. It truly is incredible. We often take for granted that English is the dominant language. But here, BTS is given love by being sung to in their own language. I can’t wait to see you react to the full song someday. Borahae! 💜

Thank you for your reaction. I found B T S only 18 months ago when I was at my lowest. I was lying in bed recovering from cancer and they sang and danced and plaid into my life and I have not looked back. They are so inspirational even at my age (68). Hope you can watch 'in the soup' and there other programs. I have never laughed so much. Welcome to ARMY xxx

Don't be confused by Jungle ok saying he joined when he was 15. He was really 13. They count age differently than us. He was born in 1997 and joined in 2011 when he was still 13.

im not into kpop, but bts are really something els. their music, lyricism and overall artistry is really incredible.

Thank you for sharing your BTS journey with us.... Not sure if you are aware of the difference between Korean Age and International Age... Koreans count age differently to us.... This video uses Korean ages, you will need to adjust. (eg- JungKook was 13 when he joined BighHit and 15 when they debut)..... Korean Age vs International Age - difference is 1-2 years depending on if their birthday has been.... Rule of thumb - if it's before their birthday - subtract 2 years to get international age. if it's after their birthday - subtract 1 year to get their international age. When you are born you are considered 1 year old. Then on 01 Jan every year you add another year to your age, no matter what your birthdate is. .... EG: TaeHyung (V) born 30 Dec 1995 ...... current International Age 26 (Korean Age 28). ... 2 years difference So Tae born 30 Dec 95 is 1 year old, then on 01 Jan 96 he is 1 more year older (so they would say he is 2 years old, when we would say he is 2 days old.) So he was considered 28 in Korea since 01 January, we would say he is 26 turning 27 in Dec. EG: Hoseok (JHope) born 18 Feb 1994...... current International Age 28 (Korean Age 29)... .currently 1 years difference He turned 28 on 18 Feb - but will still be considered 29 in Korea (the difference is only 1 year - until Jan 1 - then back to 2 years difference) It's a different way of looking at age, from new years day - JHope is living his 29th year (since conception) - instead of - he turned 28 (since birth).... EG: Jeongguk (JK) born 01 Sept 1997...... current International Age 24 (Korean Age 26)... .2 years difference He was considered 26 in Korea since January, even though we would say he's 24 turning 25 in Sept. So JK started with BigHit in 2011 at 13, but he would say 15 in korean age. At BTS debut on 13 Jun 13 JK was 15 in international age (17 in korean age) International Age at Debut on 13June13 (Year and international age became trainee) Jin - 20 yo (2011 - 18yo) Suga - 19 yo (2011 - 17yo) JHope - 19 yo (2011 - 17yo) RM - 18 yo (2010 - 15yo) Jimin - 17 yo (2012 - 16yo) V - 17 yo (2011 - 15yo) JK - 15 yo (2011 - 13yo) In most series they are giving Korean ages so you will need to adjust. Hope that makes sense!!💜💜

Brandon, I’ve been watching your videos and today I subscribed. I’m 67 years old and am a proud ARMY. BTS is unlike anything I’ve seen or experienced in my lifetime. When my husband and I saw them perform in LA last year, we met so many wonderful ARMYs of all ages and we really were like a big family. It felt like a family reunion. No other musical group has united people in such a warm embrace. I hope you’re enjoying this journey.

It’s funny to me that Jin and J-Hope call themselves the scaredy cats of the group but despite that they both did bungee jumps in Run BTS and perform solo songs in front of 70,000 People live and millions on line I would absolutely die of fright at the idea of it. I think people who do things they are scared of have real courage.

Thank you for reacting to BTS and learning more about them. A few comments. 1) The ages shown are Korean Age, which is roughly 2 years older than International Age. So Jungkook, for example, joined BigHit at 13, not 15 as stated, but was 15 when they debuted in 2013. He was the main vocalist for the group starting at 15. I've heard Korea is going to get rid of the way they figure age and go with international, but I don't know when that happens (I'm in the U.S.). 2) It would be good to watch Jungkook as the Main Vocalist of BTS by Ida S (on KZread). It shows more of what that role actually means, as it doesn't mean singing more parts, but doing vocal guides for the others, background vocals and ad libs for many of BTS' songs. look up RM god of destruction. he really is incredibly destructive. and famously set the pans on fire. Suga enunciates so clearly, I used to listen to Agust D a couple times a day. I also like a really simple rap Give It To Me. Actually I haven't found any of his songs I dislike. J Hope's First solo release I worth a long listen. My favorite is Daydream. Of the new release my favorites are More and Equal Sign. He is also scared of everything...except ghosts. Jin's solos are fantastic. Moon is my favorite. His personality is so charming and funny. He is OTT. And also scared of everything. Jungkook was 13-14 international age when he started. He gives members singing advice when they get stuck. V is a lover of Jazz and Funk and I can't wait to hear his solo release. He has a group of friends called the Wooga Squad and they released a mini vacation show called Friendcation that was so delightful and calming. BTS used to call his Alien because his personality is so unique. Jimin has a fabulous voice and his dance is astonishing, I love seeing his dance performances. And he is incredibly kind.

This is why I don't have a 'bias' but am what is called a 'OT7' (one true 7; meaning, I love all the members equally)....I love each member for different reasons regarding their talents and personalities: RM for his deep raspy rap, wisdom, poetic lyrics and leadership; Jin for his amazing vocal range, playfulness and positivity that keeps the other members optimistic and focused; Suga for his growly rap, his beats, & his lack of fear in showing both power and vulnerability in his songs; J-Hope for his humor and openness to taking risks and trying new things musically; Jimin for his unique vocal tone, thoughtfulness, compassion, and lack of fear to show affection to the other members; V for his soulful voice and always being the first to compliment and support the other members on their work Jungkook for his massive quality and range talent, having the sweetest little laugh, his willingness to be a clown with Jin to make the others laugh, and his hard dance moves

You will hear the words Hyung and Maknae a lot in BTS videos, don't forget their meanings. Maknae: Youngest person (younger brother) Hyung: A man's term for an old man (Big Brother) Of course, there is the term Sunbaenim, which is used for people who are more experienced than you. For example, BTS debuted in 2013 and another group debuted in 2012 then BTS has to call that group/members XXX Sunbaenim. .

There is also Hubae for your junior, so TxT are BTS's Hubae. So Sunbae (nim is an honorific) senior, Hubae junior. In Cypher 3, when they say bae it is ambiguous whether they are using it as abbreviation for Sunbae or Hubae or both.

In the world of KPop, we don't call certain members our "favorite." We call them our bias and bias wrecker. In BTS, Suga is my bias and V is my bias wrecker. You have to react to On: Kinetic Manifesto next. It's LIT.

Really enjoying following you on your journey down the rabbit hole! I found them in 2017 which for me was a god send! They give me a reason to smile everyday! Just a fyi’s when they showed that concert where everyone was holding up signs they where Happy Birthday signs for Jin. It was at the So Fi Stadium in Los Angeles last December! The Boys always do Vlives on their Birthdays to talk to Army and have cake! So Jin was still in Los Angeles when he did his with that amazing candle that he couldn’t put out!! Also he filmed Super Tuna there as well! I’m 57 and seeing those amazing young men in concert was a major highlight in my life!

Jungkook is the main voicalist, lead dancer, sub rapper and center of bts from the beginning.

It would be good if you react to “Jungkook Main vocalist of Bts by Ida S”. That video showcases he’s main vocalist position in details. It’s not about just singing the most lines. Jungkook records the guides of their songs. He does the background vocals, adlibs, harmonizations etc. He’s the one who covers up other members part when they aren’t able to perform. He’s the one who members comes up to for vocal advices. His voice is layered in all of their songs & his voice color fits any genre perfectly

When you watch other creators' videos, you always play it neatly to the last notice. It's nice to see your respect and sincerity!

I enjoyed this reaction. I am glad to see you learning about the uniqueness of each member. I am silver ARMY. 69 years old. Not a typo. I remember watching the Beatles debut on the Ed Sullivan Show. I have never seen anything like this. I have watched BTS since 2016. I watched Hwrang when I didn't know who V was (K drama is what led me to the music.). Of course I was a tiny bit younger in 2016 😉.
