Yeah sure go ahead and throw that unhardened fine threaded freshly machined shaft on the floor, not gonna ding anything up that really matters. Sure go ahead install the seals whichever way, it might keep the dirt out or might keep the grease in. Doesn't appear to be any grease fittings so probably doesn't matter anyway. What's the life expectancy of this abomination? Two months?

Just remember that this implement won't be run at 15 miles an hour behind a 500 horse power tractor. This was made for a small farmer. Not someone with 10,000 acres. Glad you're such an expert on machinery and the intended use.! Arrogant builder. Let's see you do better under the same conditions using the same materials.
