hey spirit :) great to see u there ! That is one of the civ tunes, where u start from the scratch and have to opportunity to set the musical direction. An extended Civ-Album would be great! Just lock me up in my basement :D

Also, I like how the whole composition catches the history of the Scandinavians, their transition from wild raiders ready to wander the seas and seek fortune and conquest (represented by the introduction and the horn and the flutes in it) to a more commonly European less expansionist, but centered more on inner development (culture and agriculture, governmental centralisation) society (the part where the string instruments are used).

You know what..it is bloody difficult to capture a culture, a emotion or a saga in a tune with no lyrics...But Vitalis you are gifted!! The ease with which you produce em is unbelievable.

Vikings theme is by far my favorite one in AOE 2!! Excellent!

I would love for this to appear in Age of Mythology Retold.

After the devs nerfed Vikings by removing thumb ring. Vitalis came in with the Viking theme buff ! Thank you my friend. Happy new year

I actually gave the Vikings Thumbring Back in my mod, because TO EREBUS with Balance, same thing as me giving the Chinese Gunpowder AND Redemption (Restore Redemption, give Gunpowder) Because they Invented Gunpowder, therefore in my eyes they should have it.

​@@magesticalmysterium6856No, in the East, China only invented fireworks and attached them to arrows, but Vietnam is the birthplace of cannons (so the Vietnamese have fully upgraded Bombard Cannons but the Chinese do not)

This would come in handy for persuading someone to sail far and wide and raid a few villages!

@@madeiraislander Yes, but that is mostly due to civ bonuses (free wheelbarrow and infrantry hp etc.) Their tech three is rather limited as a result, for balance reasons

@@eliaswewel3899 free wheelbarrow and handcart is a huge bonus, it's a pretty fun civ to play. Their horses suck, still it's a great civ :) one of my favorites

@@VitalisEirich yes I understand and appreciate your work. I like how you changed Huns theme with energetic one, Spanish theme vocals to very soothing music etc. When DE came out. You can initially start with whatever civ themes can be potential good/popular for listening not about specific civ. If you ask me about specific civ then it would like to listen indians extended theme because I like this theme music with drums, tanpura and Indian classical singing.

Hey Vitalis, arbeitest du noch für Microsoft eigentlich? Es ist ja bekannt das du alle Civ Musikstücke komponiert hattest, und natürlich dachte man das dies so weitergeht. Aber im Offizielem Age2 Forum haben die Leute herausgefunden, das die neusten Civ Musikstücke von den Indischen Völkern. Gar nicht komponiert wurden, sondern einfach aus einem bestehendem Video entnommen wurden. Weist du den Grund dafür? oder weshalb man dich nicht miteinbezogen hat wie davor auch.

Hallo Steve, ich arbeite für Forgotten Empires. Ich habe die ganzen Civ Themes geschrieben oder weitergeführt. Dies trifft auch auf die indischen Völker zu..Ich habe sie hier nicht hochgeladen, weil ich diese noch etwas abändern/verbessern wollte, weil ich sie nicht unbedingt für so gelungen halte. Leider ist so ein Veränderungsprozess gar nicht einfach umkehrbar. Aber ja, es gibt einiges an Content, was ich hier bei mir nicht hochlade aus unterschiedlichen Gründen. Zb habe ich auch die Themes für AoE3 Italien oder Malta geschrieben oder auch Szenenmusik.. Aber nicht alles landet dann hier bei mir :-) . Zusammenfassend: ich bin bis jetzt für jegliche Civ-Musik bei age2 verantwortlich. Ich werde mich die Tage auch im Forum melden und auf das Thema nochmal eingehen. Hoffe ich konnte zur Aufklärung etwas beitragen. Grüße gehen raus!

@@VitalisEirich Danke für die Rückmeldung :) . Wäre glaube gut wenn das irgendwie erklärt werden könnte im Forum. Damit die Verwirrung gelöst wird. Wäre es den auch möglich das in der Zukunft die Main Menu Theme von den letzten beiden DLCs kommen könnte? Wenn mal Zeit dazu verfügbar sein sollte.
