@Itz FanaTic Plays a hagstone Is a rock with a hole through it, thought to have magical properties. In the Tales of Percival, Peredur is given a magical stone that allows him to see and kill an invisible creature called the Addanc. In another tale, the hero Owain mab Urien is trapped in the gatehouse of a castle. He is given a stone by a maiden, which turns Owain invisible, allowing him to escape capture.

Yah thanks seen it ,I like anything rocks! have you checked out "The crystal collector" he has a great following on you tube of coarse.
The odd piece of greenish glass that Alex found about 9 minutes in is fulgurite. The charred side is the clue that this blob of sand was hit by lightning, then worn down by river currents. I lived in the lightning capitol of the world and have found several similar pieces on the beach.

@Centauri I found a very similar piece to the one Alex found about as big as a dinner plate with almost identical black burn marks around the impact, when I turned it over the bottom looked like glass worms going in all directions.

@@dannytorrance9555 that is cool. There are people that spend their time hunting and digging the fresh strikes up. They look like glass trees. Maybe one day I'll find one too
You both have the gift of looking deeper and seeing things others would pass by. Lovely video, thank you 🙂🧡

Absolutely I would never know these stones were so special
I'm very happy to hear that in the future you will be cutting and polishing and making things out of those beautiful stones I am a mud lark but I'm also a rockhound and I'd love to learn a lot more than I know about lapidary work I can't wait to see it I enjoy your videos always
Hello from Tucson, AZ. Hope you guys are keeping out of the heat. I am used to the heat, but it seems to be cooler here than a lot of places lately. I just love your videos. Gail, that one big longer rock with all the quarts breaking through reminds me of a baked potato. Thanks four sharing your adventures!❤❤❤

Nice. I can’t wait till my grandchildren move back to England. I am going to take them out to find whatever. Here in the States we look for dump Piles. Where a settler would dump old bottles and whatnot. Thanks for sharing your experiences Ladies.
Those agates are stunning, and so are the other finds! ❤️ Alex, I really love the cinematography and the music. I know it's a lot of work, but the result is amazing. It really reflects the mood from that time of year.
I was so excited when you picked up the large rock piece that looks like a work of modern art. I so hoped you were going to take it home. You both find amazing and beautiful things, but that one rock just spoke to me. It's funny how that is. Thank you for the enjoyment you bring with each video.
Goodness me ladies, the imagery and music at the end of this lark were enough to bring out in goose bumps. What a lovely ending to a perfect lark. Such beautiful finds. Mother earth certainly knows how to make the most wonderful items. With the help of water and time. Those glass pieces you found were so smooth and perfect. Those hag stones, i love. My mum would always pick those up as good luck charms. I still have one or two that she collected when i was very young. Takes me right back to childhood and carefree days on holiday, with my patents and siblings. Such lovely memory's. The agate pieces you found Alex were very pretty. Loved that swirly one especially. I look forward to seeing what you do with the items you found, some time in the futcher. I couldn't believe that you found a dolls head. 😆 What an amazing place to lark. Thanks 😊 x
Hi Alex and Gail! ( : You two never fail to make me smile. Ladies! Thank you sooo much for all the wonderful content and cool finds, as always. I needed a lift and you two never fail to deliver! What cool pieces of stone, agate, and a Georgian ledge! I loved the haunting melody you played after finding the ledge and accompanying the sunset signaling the end of a successful hunt! ( : You guys found the most beautiful pieces of natural stones! The agates you found were gorgeous, just like the finders! ( : Beautiful inside and out! ( :
You both had a lot of lovely finds. And, some nice surprises, like the doll’s head…so sweet! The pieces of sea glass were some of the chunkiest and most worn I’ve seen. And, the agates are so pretty in colour and pattern. A great day!
I simply love the videos .So many beautiful rocks, beads and pipes ,and bottles.I love it.And I love you two. From Georgia USA
I absolutely love it when you go rock larking or as we here in Kansas would say rock hound hunting! Almost every stone is beautiful when it is cut and polished. My Dad made jewelry, windchimes and other beautiful things out of rocks he cut, ground and polished! I wish I had his equipment, I do had lots of his rocks though! Please be careful and stay safe! ❤❤
What beautiful river treasures! Congratulations, ladies, on these amazing finds!💖
Don't you just love the uk..when it rains. Very refreshing. I hated that 35 to 40 degree weather we had!. Far to hot and uncomfortable but when we get the 18 degree with rain. Its so nice! Everywhere looks so pretty. Grass looks so green instead of looking like straw. A the pebbles etc show up so.pretty like your videos. We are very lucky in the uk. Unfortunately not many people who live here can appreciate what we have !

We're in California and they holler "environment" all the time , yet allow mining, uncontrolled building, overcrowding, more road, more cars, theres not a speck of environment without trash or buildings! I love these videos, like looking at heaven!

I so enjoyed your lark for Jasper! Beautiful stones, of all sorts, you brought home!!
Hear we go happy days again. There is treasure to be found for all to enjoy. From are Steven from South Elmsall/pontefract Castle. ❣💕👍👍
Stunning photography absolutely fabulous soundtrack 👌 thank you
🇨🇦🍁Thank you for a lovely mudlark today! Beautiful agates great finds! Keep creating! Be safe!! Look forward to next week💕💕☀️🌸🦋🌻🐝
Oh wow look what I’ve found.. A perfect gem of a channel. Lovely. Thank you, this is perfect 🥰
The clips of the sunsets were beautiful, capped off finding those rock treasures.
Hi my husband and I started watching your videos and we enjoy ur treasures. My husband said tht your voice would be perfect as a narrator for a story book . Be safe and ty for sharing. Your fans in the USA.
Hello Gail and Alex, what a wonderful video!! I get so excited when a new episode of your wonderful adventures pop up!! ❤️❤️
My mother and I used to do a lot of agate hunting around the Willamette river over here in Oregon, USA. Her trick to finding them was to have the sun glint through the agates by standing opposite the sun. I am still amazed to think of what it took for the planet to create such wonders and the vast variety of mixtures that can be found in even the smallest of stones. What a backdrop for your hunt, a castle in the background is probably just normal for you, like the fawns in my yard, I get used to them until I read the comments that people leave.🤗🥰
I used to hunt for agates as a child growing up in Minnesota and South Dakota. I couldn’t walk a gravel road without looking for agates. We also has a rock polishing tumbler and I loved seeing them polished. This was so fun for me to watch!
I love the simplicity of a rock tumbler for polishing up those red jasper pieces. SO pretty!
That sheep with its black and white is cool.
Hello! I got all excited when you were showing that odd green stone. At first, I thought it might be a beryl or chrysoberyl, but I now think it might be a large botryoidal chalcedony. (Of course, it might also be glass...) I think you should have it checked!
Beautiful agates. Montana rock hound and KZreadr Theo Kellison makes gems both faceted and cabs on his tile saw, then he polishes in his rock tumbler. Might be worth a try.
Beautiful rocks. I love agate and jasper but I have never seen an actual hag stone. And all of the beautiful sea glass and a doll's head. What a beautiful rainy day hunt.
So many beautiful rocks and sea glass just live your videos. Keep mud larking. Can't wait till the next one
Beautiful finds, beautiful scenery, and beautiful music, too! Thank you!
Thank you for yet another lovely show. Love the music
I could listen to this young ladies voice all day. X
Loved seeing your agate finds of course, but the sunset at the end with the mournful music was exquisite ! Thanks again for sharing your adventures with us.
Love the agate and the hag stones and the beautiful filming of the sunset and the river. Thank you for a lovely adventure.
So nice to see mother and daughter enjoying a wonderful time together! Your voices are so beautiful and calming, and your finds are also really beautiful! Just love your videos! 😊
I love your filming techniques, lovely job.
I think those bottle stoppers would be nice wire wrapped. Love you ladies.
You have thee most amazing videos. The sounds, sights and finds are Always So Cool! Thank you both, so much, for keeping this little old lady entertained over here in Western Pennsylvania, USA. 🙂
Love the scenery and the music.
Such an amazing adventure! It's too bad you could not bring the big stone with the writing on it home. However, your filming will document it so nicely!
The music at the end made me think of those that lived long ago and what thought they must have had when finding one of those lovely stones and if they made jewelry for a love...
I can’t wait to see the beautiful cut and polished cabachons you will be able to make some day fro these treasures
Beautiful haul, ladies!!!!!!!
What an amazingly beautiful and atmospheric location.
My goodness, those scenes towards the end where you have this evening sky are the most beautiful ones I think I've ever seen. And that haunting music that was played with it it was almost like a religious experience. Thank you so much for that. CL
This whole video was so relaxing 😊
I collect crystals, and love the specimens you’ve collected - especially that red agate with the swirly designs! Also, the sunset you captured was beyond gorgeous ❤️
Such simple pleasures that make you both so happy ❤️ I wish my mom was still with me. I’m in Virginia USA
Wow that sunset was absolutely gorgeous.
Great finds! Beautiful agate! Loved the doll head, those worn bottle stoppers, the clay marble and that striped blue and piece of pottery or glass. It was beautiful I can’t imagine what the whole thing looked like. Where y’all able to research and find out anything about it? Also that big rock with the quartz in it that Gail found was cool looking and Alex’s glob of quartz was awesome too! 🥰♥️🥰

What a beautiful magical place! A castle and river with all those finds. Lovely lovely area!!!
Awww..so beautiful to watch and explore with you. I loved the swirly agate piece n the dolls head..I can't wait to see what crafts you both make soon..
Beautiful stones and finds, oh and I do love the baa baas with their black and white legs and faces! Thank you for sharing my lovelies xx Teresa ❤🇦🇺
Wow a lot of beautiful great finds. :) all I can find is tiny seashells in the lake here. No sea glass or anything like that. Just a couple of dollars I found in the lake when I was a child in 1991. I'm working on a video dedicated to you ladies. But didn't find much shells either like I used too. But I hope you will enjoy it. I will tag you in it. I virtually wanted to lark with you ladies. :)
Amazing Finds .From Scotland
Ooooo, this was lovely and the end music!❤
Those broken river-glass bottle-stoppers would make lovely pendants because the flat side would lay perfectly against the skin!
Lovely scenery, lovely finds, lovely sunset and lovely ladies. Thank you for sharing.
Great video. Always enjoy watching you ladies
Great finds girls. Your glass is called " Sea Glass". Happy hunting.
Wonderful video…..my highlight to watch on a weekend xx
Hello girls, I hope that you two find some amazing agates, so ladies happy hunting, I’m hoping that you two have a good day find for the bucket list
I love your channel. I’m an amateur rock hound as well. Oregon has some beautiful rocks. USA.
I love seeing the rocks from across the pond!
Those rocks would be wonderful for painting on!! They are so smooth.
I think the rock witheyes is called Orbicular Jasper! Very nice!
Great Video and fabulous finds.👍
i'm so grateful for finding your channel! ive been an avid collector for years but only through purchasing crystals/rocks but since a friend of mine who knows what i'm like gave me a lovely bit of what they thought was a standard but lovely piece of quartz which when cleaned up revealed some amethyst in which sparked a new passion to get out hunting! until then i always assumed here in the UK we didn't have anything other than your average quartz but now through your videos and 'UK gem hunters' i can't wait to get out on my bicycle and back on the 'River taff trail' which runs from Cardiff all the way up to the Brecon beacons but this time to get hunting! i'm so grateful i found your channel! my favourite so far were the Garnets in Scotland but i've got lots more of your videos to watch! thank you from Cardiff! 😊
The mystery rock looks like moss agate. You two find the coolest stuff. Thank you again for taking us along.
Amazing finds! You went out looking for red agate and went home with all sorts of wonderful things!!! And such stunning scenery!
Amazing seaglass finds! 💙💙💙
You found some lovely agates, or Rock bands. I think that large shaped rock with the quartz veins in it, could be a coprolite? I like the greenish yellow quartz to. Thank you and enjoy your weekend
It's so cool that earth can make such beautiful rocks. I love watching your videos because we don't have these types of rocks where I live. Loads and tons of fossils but ni "gemstones".
I’m a beach rockhound around Lake Michigan so it’s always cool to see you two joining in on the fun. Love how you can’t help but still get in some mudlarking finds while you’re at it haha

Oh i love the gems. My father collected gems, he passed all his rock tools for me along with incut stones.
Beautiful finds in this one.
One of my all time favorites.
This was a gorgeous video…the dolls head is my favorite because it has a worn look to it…the agates were out of this world…thank you , Ladies.
Love you guys. Amazing editing. Love the music. ❤️ From NZ.
So many beautiful rocks. Love the red ones!

Omh guys..i'm happy that both of you find a lot beatiful rocks, river glass, pottery, and doll head 😄. I hope can go there with you guys, but i live so far away..thank you for taking us (virtualy) 😀. Anyway guys keep safe and healthy ❤
Such amazingly beautiful finds! I love all the river glass especially the big bubble and the half of a stopper. The agates where amazing that large piece you showed cut and polished is gorgeous. I’m also so happy you showed the sheep 🐑 I kept hearing them bah and I thought to myself that I would like to see them and the clip didn’t disappoint. I can’t believe Alex found a dolls head. That piece of banded pottery Gail found that had the light blue layers with the browns and whites was so amazing I would love to see what that originally was but regardless the remaining piece was still exquisite. That location is excellent being on the bend of the river the finds are dropped off on the shore in flooding times. I love it all!
Omgoodness Gail you made me giggle with your comment. I love you ladies so much!!!
I love the piece of agate with the circles in it. It would make an amazing piece of jewellery. Thank you for another fab video. Xx
At the beginning of your video, you forgot to say, let's do it! I really love the sea glass, they would look so cool in a glass jar.
I enjoy your photography a lot. You have a real talent for it. Great finds. I see car lights in the background..
An incredible location with the yummiest rocks, sea glass, along with assorted other surprises. Not a very long vi, but it was oh so sweet. The song and scenes at the video's end were glorious. Thank you, Gail and Alex for lending a bright spot to all of our lives. The entire internet has been altered by you two, because of your gentle hearts, artistic talents, ability to see the silly side and of course your capacity to share it all with us. I Love You For That. ( :
New video!!! What a perfect end to the day ☺ 👍
Loved the sunset video segments at the end. Some nice agate and jasper finds. Thanks for another video.
I would absolutely love to have one of your treasures from this video, but I’m very late in commenting & I live in Kirkland, WA in the USA!! I really enjoyed your adventure & will watch all of your videos if I can. Thanks 🙏 again, Ladies! From Lydia
Everything was beautiful including the sunset! Enjoy all your journeys.
The agate is so beautiful ladies thank you xxx
9:55 such fancy hosiery!
Gorgeous! Another lovely video. I think I like watching you hunt for agates and gems more than bottles and other finds.
👍👌👏 Simply gorgeous (the gem stones, glass and especially the Ladies 💚)! ;-) Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and health to all of you.
