Aftershock 100% (Maximum Fury) in

It took a few weeks, but I'm happy to say I have a pretty decent route for Aftershock's 100% speedrun on Maximum Fury! This run isn't perfect by any means, but I'm happy with this time and I plan to move on to Angel of Death speedruns in the near future. The biggest improvements to this run would be avoiding a few deaths near the start of the run. The beginning of the game is actually quite hard because you don't have all the resources you'll have later in the run. I was also a little nervous when I got into the volcano levels, because I knew I couldn't make any big mistakes if I wanted to get a time under 1:25.

Yay a new speedrun
Very nicely done. That gun glitch really makes things easier for you. I couldn't imagine going through the game with the normal reloading animations.

Yeah, it totally changes the game. It makes the run much faster paced and allows you to use the best weapon for each encounter. The reload cancel mechanic was added during the preview campaign, before the game launched.

Great run! I saw one of your streams where there was a bug with enemies getting thrown out of bounds. Did that end up getting fixed?

It did! Thankfully, the developers figured out the cause and fixed the glitch. They also added a failsafe so that enemies will automatically die if they are out of bounds for 10 seconds, or something like that.
How do you cancel the reload animation on the shotgun? It shoots so fast when you do it.

Hold the reload button, then after you shoot, press the button to quick swap to the electrifryer (Q by default). After that, just click, and you can start the sequence again. So the whole thing goes like this, with default controls: Click -> R (continue holding R from here) -> Q -> Click.
