the tracker is a life saver!!!

Tracking your movements/camera or whatever can be so powerful in editing - and so easy! Definitely gonna use it for My Year 2018 video

If you master tracking and masking(or rotoscoping), the amount of VFX you can do is endless! when I help people learn after effects this is one of the first things I teach them. Great Vid!

These tutorials are amazing! I never understood tracking during my AE lessons and I gave up. Now I want to learn again and this makes it so much easier. Thanks!

After Effects is such a *powerful* program

4K is so crisp. I'm so pumped that you finally decided to upload videos in 4K. So much more greatness is just shooting at me. I love it.

It is inspiring how amazing of a teacher you are. Keep it up, you're changing lives.

Sometimes you watch these videos and think you know what the tutorial is teaching you already... but then they say one thing that makes it worth it.... Don't have the motion blur on the entire time to save efficiency and not make your computer explode. Little hints like that go a long way! Thanks Peter! Keep it up!

This was really daunting at first. I watched this video a few months ago and was like nah. but I came back now and just started working along with you and it was WAAAY easier than I thought.

NICE! Peter - you should definitely do a series on coffee - you know about the equipment you use and tutorials on how to make a great coffee wether it be pour over, espresso, cappuccino, the different grinds etc. There goes a lot of stuff into coffee-making and I bet there's a lot of your viewers that would really dig a series on that subject! Keep up your awesome work!

@@filmnerd1871 I will have you Know I have done editing on After effects on a pentium with 2 gigs of ram and ye its not super smooth and theres stutters but its functional :) Hope that builds some confidence for you to Try it on ur system.

@@MrHarryGray It is much easier to use for me, more comfortable. Also I think it is possible to do more things in it. But on the other side I can see that for example texts quality is poor in Vegas, but it is not a big problem, I download some plugins

To be honest, SVP is way more beginner friendly and easy to work on since the interface is so simple compared to AE but some animations needs too much work while After Effects needs less. Sometimes apps like VideoStar or AlightMotion has way easier presets than these programs do. Every software has it's own pros' and cons' so you gotta choose which one you would work best with

Watching on my MacBook and simultaneously, right on cue with Peter's "Pause" my phone made an unusual alert sound. I thought it was the end of the world for like a quarter of a second and then my brain caught up with reality and now I feel a little dumb but that feeling is being superseded by a glad heart because Peter is doing a tutorial.
