I ❤🖤💚Afrofuturism so much. When I tell you I cried walking through this exhibit at the "Blacksonian"
Can’t wait to see it👍🏾🦶🏿
Okay, adding these exhibits to my bucket list
Love Nancy Giles narration!
Yes to all this and special shout out to John Jennings, a fabulous animator and educator.
I would’ve loved to have seen NK Jemisin included in this story.
Love Wakanda tech. Want to see "Space Greyhound," where African-American pilots yell at passengers to sit down and use headphones for their personal listening devices. RIP Trayvon and Chadwick ❤
I'm surprised this segment didn't bring up Iwaju from Disney as an example of this brand of science fiction.
such a cool concept! thanks for highlighting it
"You know what, slavery isn't for me". I love it!!
Afro is cool! Star Trek is cool, so it's cool!
Earth wind &fire, erykah badu and stevie wonder also incorporate elements of afro futurism in their work
This should be a permanent exhibit in the museum

yes , defining us by color is a great thing , we should defined by our skin color ?
The various melanated extraterrestrial species stemming from the star galaxy system "Vega" would be proud.
Saw this exhibit last summer, it was magnificent!
This is amazing, definitely want to visit!!
This is a fascinating story. I enjoy learning about afrofuturism..
Why is the guy in glasses saying “they” instead of “we” when talking about black ppl 😂😅😅
This exhibition looks amazing ! It definitely leads the way for other cultures to also share their triumph, woes and endurance through out this American history. Also please let us not forget immigrants that worked in our railways that came from china, Mex Americans, people from other nations that were also taken advantage of and please most of all our brothers America indigenous people.
Thanks 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌹
How about ...Futurisim.....😊

Too general of a subject. Try picking a specific diaspora and focus on how futurism is seen through their lens. (Is what most instructors/professors/producers would say if you told them that would be the subject of your next essay/paper/informative piece)

You sound so wounded? This exhibit isn't hurting other people, it's not hurting you or me. It's a celebration of a culture.

I agree Pieces like this are complete nonsense Communist Broadcasting System
It really seems to me that in order for humanity to move forward in racial issues the racial classification needs to be shifted. To White Tan Yellow Brown. Although I love black people I just don't like thinking about black color.
Oh thank god.... I thought you almost forgot to do a piece on race Did I miss the pieces on climate change and J6?
