That might be the most impressive show tank in terms of tank size, cleanliness, and fish selection. Wow. Amazing work

Love your set up. I would want a set up a bit like that but a bigger aquaponic for basil and lettuce and grow light (discus & tetra). Does the aquaponic have a strong smell ? Require frequent wash? Thanks alot

Thank you. The aqua phonics system has no smell at all and has not been touched in 2 years.

You went back to the K1? What happened to the Biohome bricks? Curious why you switched back. Tank still on Fire🔥🔥🔥

The Marine Pure blocks started to crumble and disintegrate on their own causing a mess in the sump. It turned into a disaster so I did away with them for good. This particular chamber was getting some fish waste accumulating at the bottom from the roller filters so the best option was to add the K1 back for the self cleaning effect. Now any extra fish waste is pushed into the next section where it is caught at the top by the filter mat/sponges and easily removed.

@@Jetblink619 thanks for the reply bro, Sorry to ask again but what are you using to move the K1? I asked before but cant find the answer. Keep it up bro!

@@sgtbehrens no worries, I have a Jebao S-35 wavemaker in that section. I only run it at just over half power….it’s fully controllable. That said, you can easily get away with a smaller size.

What about the aragonite sand you mention earlier, any progres on how do you want to put it in your tank?

I decided against it for this tank. Working on a couple new big tanks for the basement that I will be making a video on and may just use it in one of them.
