AFRICA GIG PERFORMER PERFORMANCE NOTES:
Africa Main: Intro / Verse / Chorus
Default
High: CS80 Brass
Mid: DX7 Marimba/EMU Kalimba Layer
High: Moog Flute
Assign Expression Pedal to the Knobs in the Panel
EXP Pedal: Increases Piano Volume & CS80 Brass Brightness; decreases CS80 Brass Volume slightly.
Variation: Verse 2
Activates Moog Flute at the bottom of the keyboard as an alternative to playing on top. Since the bass line and flute are identical, this enables the player to play both the bass and flute simultaneously.
Africa SOLO:
Assign Expression Pedal to the Knobs in the Panel
Use this if playing the solo with both hands. Pedal brings in the Marimba/Kalimba
Africa SOLO with Harmonies:
Assign Expression Pedal to the Knobs in the Panel.
SOLO 1: Flutes with Harmony 1
SOLO 2: Flutes and Marimba Kalimba with Harmony 2
SOLO 3: Flutes & Marimba Kalimba with Harmony 1

This video is day 2 with the software. I got the grand tour of the software Friday night from James. Prior to that, I hadn’t even seen the interface. Downloaded and programmed Saturday and shot the video this morning. It’s incredibly intuitive and user friendly. I watched a couple of 5 minute tutorials and I was off. Highly recommended!

You should add GP using Arturia V collection to your songs that you sell. I'm moving from Yamaha XF6 and S90ES to controllers and GP+Arturia V collection.

I replaced several midi Omni modules with 2 chord generators to generate the harmonies. The wiring looks a lot cleaner now.
Sounds pretty decent!
Awsome! Mind sharing keyboard controller brand? Love the way you can switch groups with your left hand with the press of a button! Also, Mac or PC?

I used the Arturia Astrolab and the Korg Keystage for the first few videos neither of them have assignable buttons so I've been using the Korg Kronos for my more recent videos
Any plan to launch cover patches for Astrolab and Arturia V?

Yes that’s what I’m working on. Maybe not for the Astrolab specifically as the sounds will be limited to 2 sound splits. I’ll save the individual patches

None, just the inbuilt ones for each plugin to ensure universal compatibility.
