How degenerate of an entire Country to be not only that cruel once again to yet another animal in their 'care', but to be that uneducated to think it works! Disgusting!

I don't think they are going to get very far suggesting GMO'S (lab grown skins) in place of a natural medicine product. They'd be better off creating a completely new effective medicine to replace the one that skins ar used for. Or help create a sustainable way to harvest the skins that won't make the species fo extinct (ie raising production ethically).

Better for a species to go extinct than existing only to be killed and to please human caprice, what miserable existence. We could do as well the same with humans; lets make a sustainable farm of humans for their organs, give them acceptable living conditions and educate them impose a culture so they are happy with their purpose, being only to exist to harvest their organs for the "outsiders" the builders of this world, that doing so its the best outcome and so honorable like some short of religion, so you have consent and willingness. Or what, that is wrong? but doing that with the donkeys its fine! a creature unable to consent at all

@@teresashinkansen9402 LOL I dont think anyone used the word "only". Also, you assume ethically harvesting is inherently unethical. Ethical harvesting may be when an animal has to be put down due to illness or injury. And if you think there's never a reason to put an animal down then you can't possibly own and care for animals of any kind. Ethically harvest means just that.

@@TomiaMacQueen So you would agree with the idea of breeding humans to ethically harvest their organs? Why euthanasia isn't done on humans more widely? if its so good

I do pity so much the fate of animals in the world but especially asia and africa. They are things/commodities and there seems to be little attention to animal welbeing. Would i be going to far to say that animal welfare is not part of the culture and way of life?

Nope, that's not too far. Animal exploitation and abuse should be outlawed around the entire planet and punishable by........ I won't say it because then I'll get told I've gone too far😒 Many humans don't have the ability to learn quickly because they simply haven't evolved enough yet, and sadly that means their ego STILL reigns supreme and whatever they WANT they GET. Most days I still cannot believe I live on this planet. It makes me sick and ashamed to be human😱

@@wren5291 I agree ☝️ Some countries are so inhumane towards animals. If you specify which countries you are labeled as a racist. Which has nothing to do with our opinion. All I care about is animal welfare and humane treatment of animals in all countries.

What happens 2 all that meat Donkeys r ungulate that means a hoofed animal like horse & cattle so I would image it wouldn't taste much different 4 many other cultures eat horses

Can't they just wait until the donkey dies on its own and then just peel the skin off?

Ha! That would be all together too tidy and too natural. Humans don't have the patience to wait for that. They're a bunch of spoiled brats who haven't even begun to evolve yet, who's attitude is simply 'I WANT I WANT I WANT'. It's high time humans were told 'NO, YOU CANNOT' because if those one's are not told, they're going to continue tearing the planet SEVERAL new ones and then we're al f**ked.

@@wren5291 I think it is kinda arrogant to think we're doing something to the planet. It will be here long after we're gone and hundreds of species go extinct every day and when they are all gone earth will still be here. We have a lot more problems with the earth than whatever mankind is doing to it. We are overdue for several global catastrophes any one of which will be much more devastating to the planet as a whole and all the critters living on it than anything man could come up with. Have faith grasshopper. The world will be destroyed by hook or by crook. Some things (like death) you just gotta live with.
