Eh I would stick with fire. You can still get your EMT with it. If you’re more into medical then go with Med Tech 4N0. With air force cool (more tuition) you can get other certain depending on your job. AFVEC - AF Virtual education center can show you what certifications it can pay for you depending on the job

You might not be able to work, in the civilian sector, using your national EMT or Paramedic registration. It might depend on the state. When I went home to MA I had to take a MA EMT course and get a state EMT cert. It's been a few years, so it's possible MA has done away with that. My personal opinion is that it was about MA getting money. The cost of the EMT program and the cost of state certification.

If you talk to your recruiter they can give you the list of jobs that are open to those who are color blind. That's a medical condition and if I started asking for some medical conditions I would have to start asking for several different kinds of medical conditions that either allow or prevent you from the job. If that makes sense? This is more on the job itself and less on who qualifies for what jobs. The goal is to have people talk to a recruiter find out what they qualify for and then they can look up these videos to decide which will fit them best

So fellas and ladies I got some info for y’all that contradicts whatever they might tell you at meps or even your recruit. ALL JOBS QUALIFY A 4 YEAR CONTRACT!!!! . If they tell you a certain job requires a 6 year. That is FALSE. so linguist, nuclear, air traffic. All can be signed with a 4 year contract. Plus. Certain jobs are only offered in basic and some jobs are only offered in dep. if you have a good recruiter he will let you know and show you where it’s said. I just submitted my job request with my recruiter and he broke it all down to me and told me and showed me where it says all enlisted jobs qualify a 4 year contract. Some jobs require a 6 year if you want the bonus pay. But you can sign a 4 year for any jobs
