Aerosmith has been my favorite band since 1975. But, normal questions for people who lived life to excess in the public eye for decades? Grow up. Steven is better suited for fielding those questions than Joe is, however.

God bless Steven for taking care of himself and building his fan base too. Praying for him and his family!

I get residual blast from the past when they talk about drug.

Commenters, young people referring to rock gods as grandpa, have unfortunately forgotten that EVERYONE gets older, including you, lil fella....if you're lucky, that is. These two men are incredibly lucky.

the host obviously didnt do his research but was quick to ask rude annoying questions, Joe handled it VERY well

This amazing to watch how actors watching musicians like a movie on a screen: so entrained into their story. Steven Tyler is an example of social comfidence, and charisma and humility all togehter

I was totally obsessed with Aerosmith in the late 70s and 80s I watched every single thing they ever did. Is anyone else here in 2024 doing a deep dive?

This was a very bizarre and uncomfortable interview as anyone can tell by Joe Perry's body language and tone of his voice. The questions were very inappropriate and too invasive.

STEVEN & JOE have such wild, crazy, cozy chemistry ... it is tangible!! They are sooo cool, sooo sexy, sooo fun...but most of all. insanely GIFTED!!! Love you guys.

Nice to see those guys able to stand an interview together after all theses years...You will never see Mick Jagger and Keith Richards or Axl Rose and Slash doing this now.

I'm from Yonkers... I remember the day that Joe and Steven agreed to work together. They were up in NH. But the word got around where I was by telephone and it was quite a buzz among the RHS kids... I owe Joe an apology. I was up at the Tallerico house with Steven, down there in the basement where Victor had his grand piano and I did a bad thing. I picked up one of Joe's guitar and Steven got pissed and threw me out of the house. I shouldn't have done that... True.

The JR Show. One of the best late night talk shows in the world. Something even the American hosts could learn....JR alwasys manages a very entertaining and engaging interview. :) Aerosmith---truly legendary. Nothing like them since....in quality. Sad. We're in a "dark ages" (true talent retired or dead)....And those that are performing.....like night club acts....people no one knows e.g. Amcerican late night talk show guests today

No they stay together because they are friends as close as brothers. No one would stay together that long even for money.

I love how they are casually lounging over the couch, feet on the leather, talking softly and composed, while the interviewer who I don’t really know the name of, keeps pushing awkward questions about drug use and American idol. Get something new, fella.

Rock stars just have a different energy than regular folks. Or you got it, or you don't.

Old Aerosmith Toys in the Attic. Newer absolutely loved Pump. A very relative album. Steven met Joe at the Anchorage restaurant in the harbor on the most beautiful lake ive ever seen. Lake Sunapee. Real good enery there.

Here here common sense they paid their dues.but it's all about the music,the love and joy and respect.

They were all angry because Tyler just signed up for Idol without even consulting with them. He was mad at them for when he fell off stage and they didn't visit or call. Huge rock stars behaving like kids. As far as drugs all bands in the 70's were doing huge amounts of coke. It was the heroin that really brought them down.

Jonathan Ross is a fool. His mouth always runs away with him, and his ‘provocative’ line in chat upsets many of his guests. The public got tired of him in the end, thankfully!

Intense interview. I think Jonathan took it a bit far...seeing them kinda starting to go at each other might've been a good sign talking about past drug abuse wasn't such a smooth move...and to be honest; a rock star taking drugs isn't a really new story. Let's talk about the music, Aerosmith have some amazing songs, and he could've at least taken the angle of asking about the inspiration for the music.

Its funny how different the world was just 8 years ago.

I love Aerosmith, but this this was difficult to watch. I think Jonathan Ross really wasted an opportunity for what could have been a great interview by taking a trashy tabloid approach. They must have known how the interview was going to go as Joe already looked pissed off before he even sat down.
