Gio couldn't you just use an Amex Gold card for metro sobeys grocery purchases for 2x pts/dollar spent, then transfer MR pts to Aeroplan 1:1?

That is awesome, Ricky! By the way, buying a cup of coffee from Starbucks is another good way to extend the expiration policy of Aeroplan for another 12-18 months if you are not a frequent traveller.

Already received 3 times the miles when linking and paying with tap on my phone through American Express Aeroplane Reserve card. I use Samsung pay but works with other “wallets “ too.

For the 400 bonus points does simply making a purchase in a Starbucks store work if I scan my newly linked loyalty card, or do I have to spend with an Aeroplan credit card, or do I have to purchase through some Aeroplan portal first?

Starbucks + Aeroplan = ❤️ I just wish this was done earlier pre pandemic when I was a daily frequenter of the chain. Still a good move by Aeroplan and I look forward to more partnerships and hopefully some of your predictions are correct Ricky.

I've noticed you just get points for loading funds into your starbucks account but not on purchases unless they have promotions stating so, also uber linking is only points on uber premium rides...the fine print of starbucks, and uber/uber eats must be read upfront....LCBO is still the most straightforward and last in person way to get points with the actual card....you have to use the starbucks app they won't ask for the card

I am really unhappy with Aeroplan right now. I purchased something at one of their online shops in Nov. and have never gotten the points. I have reached out to them and I am still waiting to hear back and it has been weeks. That is not prerformance.

Starbucks is a great add on, if you get coffee anyway there, why not earn points. As to losing LCBO? didn't know. Stopped shopping at Lowes and Rexall when they dropped AirMiles. As to future partnerships, Marriott would be great, although Hertz would be useless, they never have good rates like other Rentals do. IT would be cool if Costco picked up AMEX again....

It's interesting that the Starbucks website doesn't let you choose $75, only ($25,$50,$100). I guess you have to go into the store to do 75?

To answer my own question; This Starbucks app has $25 increments up to $75, so that's the way to go.
