I honestly appreciate you putting out these videos bro . I myself was interested in going to a standalone ecu and a few buddies of mine as well , so just trying to look into the differences and basic setup of aem infinity . This allows me to actually learn to get my car running and adjust parameters so i can find any issues and get the basics knocked out without bringing a problem riddled car to whichever tuner . before i ever schedule a tune id atleast try to get my car running and insure boost control is working properly . im very interested in the next video vs stock ecu ! also how do you feel about link pnp ecu for evo 8/9 ?

If I had a preference , I would choose haltech first, then aem and ecumaster , then everyone else

Would the IACV on evo 8 not work fine if two middle wires are not depinned? Like Aem says...

I have a dumb question and a request. The question is if it's better to disable the ecu function in idle and cruise to take control over the whole map? If yes how in ecuflash (evo 8). And the request is that it would be nice to see a video on how to use the dyno (like what's the little 2 button box? Reset the dyno?), knock box (is it used in honda not equippedwithone from factory? Do tuners reallytake the time to installa knock sensor and knock box for safety?), afr wideband clamp unit, etc. I would really appreciate any information. Thank you in advance i learned a lot from your videos keep up the good work.

"There are no dumb questions". In my opinion, it is not "better" to disable ecu feedback control during idle and cruise, which is also refered to as closed loop operation. The physical world we live in has too many variables. Even if ur settings are spot on the environment always changes. The closed loop operations are designed to make adjustments from ur base settings using a few sensors. Sometimes however , u do have to turn in off, mostly (for me atleast) due to sensor failure. On Evo 8/9 u can go to ecu peripherals at the bottom , and in one of them there is an option to do "full time open loop" , make that value "0" and it will keep the car from using ur front o2 at all times. I did not do a vid on Dyno operations because , dynos vary company to company. But on my Dyno the red button lock the drums from rolling (or break). The green button records the run. Hope this helps

@@bdalchemist thank you very much most tuners dont reply back and share the knowledge and that will get you really far. I'm on the east coast and not not many tuners in my area plus i always wanted to be a tuner (I been a mechanic for 15y) so i just need to get a lot of software and dyno knowledge. I hope the monitoring devices that i mentioned give you an idea for future videos which i know you will do a great job at explaining them. Your input did help me a lot, you're a great dude thank you 👍
