Same with my grandpa. I'm Korean, and my Grandfather was an amazing soldier. He came home with no scratched neither didn't get shot. He showed me his M1 Garand that he used and taught me how to shoot it. Sadly, he passed away last year, but he was an amazing veteran.

Koreans are smart, polite and very hard-working. They have walked through ages of foreign occupation and terrible warfares and the country was in ruins. But now, through the great effort of their people, they have achieved spectacular economic growth, improved their political system and become a leader in the development of hi-tech electronic products. Their people endured hardships and managed to prevail many difficulties. Korea is unlike other major economies in the world. She was not an early industrialized country nor a very populated one. She doesn't have vast lands and rich natural resources, nor does she have capitals collected from colonizing and plundering other countries. Korea has none of the advantages that other strong economies have. But still, she is able to get where she is today, depending on the hard work and unity of her people. Much respect from China, to the pride of Asia, our beloved neighbour, a proud people of the east.
