We own a Mazda CX-5 with an AEB and it already help in some situation. The main event was, when the car in front of braked hard, but his brake light didn't work. It was quite a strange situation...

My car has it, fortunately it has never had to brake for me. It has warned me on a few occasions, but I was already in control of the situation.

How does the braking work, does it take over and brake for you or does it just warn you

my 2020 Mazda 3 AEB freaked out twice today. once with a pot whole at 85km/hr and then at the traffic lights at take off. is there any way to turn it off?

People should be aware also that the eyesight system switches itself off in situations where it cannot see, such as bright sunsets shining into the cameras, thick fog, and torrential rain, if you can,t see, the cameras cant see. It will switch back on when the obstacle disappears..a bit scary the first time it happens..
