Regarding the languages in our anthem, in the first verse, the first two lines are Xhosa, and followed by two lines of Zulu.The second verse is in Sotho.

Loftus is where I saw my first real rugby match as a kid. Bill Beaumont’s Lions against Northern Transvaal. An experience I’ll never forget. Thanks for making these videos!

Nelspruit is my spiritual home (born there), moved to Pretoria in 1980. We shall see if Pretoria can get close to Nelspruit singing an anthem...

Morning,Tim. You have turned me into an England fan, the main reason being that you don't have a condescending attitude, apart from the fact that I cannot swallow "Sir" Kirwan's arrogance. He is doing AB rugby tremendous harm. I cannot believe that I'm extremely disappointed that England lost to them today! I'm not sure whether you realise how much good you are doing for English rugby. Amazing, and I really appreciate that you are a passionate English fan. Enjoy the rest of your visit. I'm watching the Bokke game at the Helderberg Rugby Club in the Strand today, 50 km from Cape Town. This is also where Willie le Roux spent a fair amount of his time as a young boy. His dad (called Konka) also played for Helderberg. It seems to be the case that community based club rugby, in the English mould, is making a serious comeback in SA. It used to be extremely strong in the pre-professional years (pre-1995). Helderberg is playing a league match against Brackenfell, a strong club side approx 20 km from CT.

RUGBY TESTS LIKE THIS IS IN SOUTH AFRICA 🇿🇦 AND NEW ZEALAND 🇳🇿 ARE LIKE CHAMPIONS 🏆 LEAGUE FINALS OR NFL AMERICAN FOOTBALL 🏈 SUPERBOWL FINALS, ABSOLUTELY MENTAL, MOST OF THE COUNTRY LITERALLY BECOMES TO A STAND STILL!👀👍🏉🏉🏉🏉🏉

If your neighbour is dressed in a shorts, a tight Springbok jersey, socks and ankle high velskoens, don't look up into his eyes. They can smell fear. If a fight breaks out, avoid the women - they're absolutely terrifying.

I can't wait for your match atmosphere and crowd reaction videos. Every broadcaster and other online content creators seem to focus so much on match and player analysis, but miss the atmosphere of being there. At the RWC, your content was the only way to get a feel for the match vibe at the stadium.

Beautiful stadium! South Africa are blessed to have such amazing venues. It was a shame that they narrowly missed out on hosting the last world cup.

Tim, if you're a whiskey drinker try the Klipdrift with soda instead of the ubiquitous coke. It is quite acceptable and actually the preferred old fashioned way. That way its actually very pleasant and not such an assault on the body.

Just to comment on the anthem and its language: The lyrics employ the five most populous of South Africa's eleven official languages - isiXhosa (first stanza, first two lines), isiZulu (first stanza, last two lines), seSotho (second stanza), Afrikaans (third stanza) and English (final stanza). The other official languages are close enough to one of the languages in the anthem that ALL can identify with it.
