I feel so burnt out right now. June is killing me. I'm getting irritable, snapping at kids when I'm usually so patient and kind...and I just want to sleep.

Wow, I needed this. I recently suffered a stroke. This is only my second year. However, I have been a substitute teacher and a para professional prior to this. Sadly, I'm not looking forward to what is to come. Of course, I still have bills to pay. 😢

U ever work in the florist business selling flowers or design them good business to get into if u burn out on teaching

So when your admin is what's sucking the joy out of teaching, and there aren't a lot of options to leave and go elsewhere... what then? I feel like that's a problem a lot of us are facing.

I get it. A bad admin. team can vaporize a staff. Have you heard of detachment? It's like, you listen and hear what they're saying, but you don't absorb it into yourself. Can you give me a specific example of something an admin. has done that robs joy from your work?

I'm so tired after 3 years of teaching... I really like being with the kids but all the admin and grading is too time consuming. How do you use a grading code? I saw some of your videos on how to add fun but if you have additional ideas I'll gladly take them. 😸 (I teach English but ESL in France)
