***** About Living Traditions Homestead *****
Living Traditions Homestead is all about living a simple and sustainable way of life. We believe the world has gotten too “busy” and that people are missing out on many of the true blessings this world has to offer. We started as a small urban homestead in Gilbert, AZ and after the city grew up around us, decided it was time leave corporate America and take a big leap of faith by moving our family to the Missouri Ozarks.
We put out 5 new videos every week! Tuesday through Saturday. We hope you will become part of our homestead family by subscribing to our channel and watching as we transition from city dwellers to full time homesteaders!

Special Rabbit Bread, cages, waters, feeders, nesting boxes. That is a large cost of money. great find.Good stuff.
Wow! How sweet of Raylene to bless you with all those rabbits and their cages! What a gift! God bless you Raylene!
i HAVE A SILVER FOX IN THE OVEN AS I WATCH THIS! Its my first harvest of my livestock that i have been raising for the past 5 months. i am up to about 40 rabbits between silver fox and blue american both heritage breeds. I cleaned the meat in an intense lightning storm in my covered porch. it was a very surreal and rewarding effort and i cant wait to enjoy my efforts. well off to check on the oven!

Positive humans as you are, attracting positive vibes, nice
Holly Bunnies, Good for you Guys. GOD BLESS.
Love you guys! Bless you and Thank you Rayleen and daughter for giving such a great gift.
They're Beautiful Bunnies
Wow what a blessing! All stages of growth and they are healthy. Cages too wish you the very best moving forward.
Fyi, i saw a Joel Saladin video about having rabbits in greenhouse, i thought or small cattle panel house. Raise rabbits off ground 3 ft or so. Then raise chickens down below. Could use wood chip bedding. Allow pellets to fall Mix chicken feed with pellets. Chickens eat. No rabbit mess on ground. Would have to clean up every once in a while. Great combiner of space and location to feed, water, and check on.
I'm glad to hear you'll be doing the hides. I know it's hard work, takes a lot of time, but to not throw anything away is so much better. Celebrate rabbit poop galore!
How wonderful. I just purchased a registered pair of Silver Fox Rabbits. My female is black and my male is chocolate. I am really excited to see what they throw. Cant breed right now because it has been -30 here in MT. Blessings for your rabbit endeavors.
Silver fox come mainly in back, but also blue and chocolate. Cool you have them all.
The rabbit dropping are great for the garden.
YAY! How exciting. I have been enjoying the rabbit series!
We have rabbits now! We just found 2 breeding New Zealand does, 1 Californian buck and 7 mixed 7 week olds. So excited just watched your raising meat rabbit series for the 2nd time!
Great rabbits to have on the homestead. I raise these in Hawaii and they are wonderful.
We were fortunate to find a breeder who was ending their ‘career’ with rabbit breeding who was selling off cages and equipment. In our area EVERYTHING is somehow ‘rare’ and ‘dear’ when it comes to price for sale…but we got into rabbit breeding with 10 does,1 buck, NZW’s and 20 cages all for about $700. The nice part is not the paying of the start up or the work in converting the barn but that a dressed rabbit in our area sells for $54.00 properly sectioned and ready to cook. I think I would rather live further out where things are cheaper but when you get older you need to be within a shorter distance of a good hospital etc. life goes on.
Good looking rabbits! Great colors. And those cages appear well built also.
I love how well you both work together ...... beautiful couple😄
Well, we'll look y'all up when we get ready to raise rabbits. Hopefully you will have some for sale. Great looking rabbits !
Awesome video I love rabbits 🐇 I’m thinking in getting 2 rabbits thank you for this video God bless you 🌷🌸🌻
What a lovely gift! You'll really have to keep good records with another buck and more does! Congratulations!
OMG! I am SUPER EXCITED about your additions. 😍🤗💓 Makes my heart so happy to see a heritage breed on YOUR homestead because I know you will do your homework and expand even more with the knowledge you gain. Congratulations on your additions y'all 😍😃😄 And a HUGE thank you to Raylene💓 Broke my heart to see the tears😢😔. But she knew they are going to a great home😉. God Bless you all for sharing your life and your blessings with us 💖 -Karen
wow, those are some high quality nesting boxes!
I hope you guys succeed on your farmstead.. Sarah, reminds me a while lot of my daughter...they seem to be engaged at whatever they are doing... good luck
I have been interested in this breed for my future homestead, as well as learning how to tan hides. Definitely keep us posted! Thank you so much for sharing!
Awww more bunnies. Congratulations. How exciting!!! Very sweet and generous as well. TFS God Bless you all ~Lisa
I'll take the manure. Lol. Native American told me once tan hides in old clothes washer soak, rinse, repeat quite a few time. Using 20 mule team soap. Hmm.
I love your videos, because of your informative videos I would love to raise rabbits some day on my homestead. I had wild rabbit meat once that my son hunted, skinned and cooked and I must say it wasn't bad at all. Keep the videos coming.
Wow blacks, blue and chocolates. Nice
I'm so interested in the Silverfox rabbits!
The rabbits are absolutely beautiful. I love their colors. Best wishes with your new rabbits.

Sarah...these rabbits are beautiful...How about starting a new venture? Rabbit fur products??? You are so crafty. It's a shame to not put these beautiful bunnies into every useful item possible.

Wow, I bet you were so excited. I am seriously thinking of starting rabbits this spring and why I have been checking out your videos and others to decide what breed, or breeds I want to go with. Thanks for all the information you share. Love and blessings to your family, Jim
How fun! What a great present:)!!!
They are very pretty. I just had my very first successful breeding with my new zealands. I am so excited to finally have babies. Good luck with your new bunnies.
Two does and a duck! You’ll get Easter eggs, for sure!
Awesome update and blessings
Love this blessing!,,😘👍🙏
Lol, "breeding duck". We're considering getting some silver fox to diversify our genetics. We have tanned some hides using the technique by Good Simple Living's KZread video. It's work, but worth it, in my opinion. We don't want anything going to waste!
What a blessing to receive all the bunnies and cages. Glad you made the trip safely.
So sweet couple, Good luck and God bless the whole family.
those are great looking rabbits, look forward to watching some tannin' going on
Cages and all...FREE! SWEET DEAL!
Blessings
Happy farm God Bless...
Wow, very cool addition! We are looking for some Silver Fox rabbits to start breeding for meat, but they really don't seem to be that prevalent in our area. Just some recently weaned does and a buck that we can handle and get to know us. Most breeders have New Zealands and Californians, and sure they would be sufficient for our needs, but I love how Silver Foxes look and the idea that they are more rare adds a sense of value also. We are on a wait list for a breeder in Festus, but she doesn't have them frequently, and who knows how big that list is? They really are pretty rabbits! Have fun with them!
We love you guys. You are like a part of our homestead. We learn so much from watching your videos. Until next time, thank you and God bless. :)
Nice congts on y'all expansion good luck hope it goes well 💖🙏
Great times
Exciting you guys. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful rabbits
They are so pretty! Congrats :)
What a nice haul
What a wonderful blessing that you guys receive God's looking out for you thank you for sharing
Presentation, appreciated.
You will love the Silver fox rabbits we raise them and love them.
Thank you Rayline! Your an angel!
They are beautiful. And will be a great addition to your breeding stock. I would keep at least a trio. That way if one doe fails the other one can breed you a new breeder doe.
I live in Kentucky and have been searching for Silver Fox rabbits. 😭 Do you guys sell live meat rabbits? I may have to drive over that direction. 🤣
How sweet of her! Beautiful rabbits.
How fabulous! What a great haul!
Wonderful gift!
The rabbits seemed very relaxed, I would have needed a tranquilizer if I was transporting them in the trailer. Good job! Laura
That was so nice of that lady, wow.
Went back to see this video again. I am getting a trio in a couple weeks and Kevin, I too will be pickling hides. I have been watching this channel and I like how this woman explains how she goes processing her hides. Thought it might help. Have a blessed weekend and Merry Christmas.
Awesome, the rabbits are super cute, I love the silver color.
We raise silver fox. The are wonderful meat and we show them. Coats need to be brushed a lot for the best pelts. They do come in 5 colors. Black, blue, lavender, chocolate and white. These are my favorite. They have the best personality out of the 3 breeds we raise.
You made another friend 😊 Pretty rabbits 🐇
So excited for your journey!
They ARE very nice rabbits!
So exciting!!!! I want to expand my heard as well and get some more color into it. I just have Californians at this point but seriously considered the silver fox. I want to breed some endangered species as well
I love that her rabbits have toys.
What a blessing!
Wow that's awesome 😀
Happy for you..
What a nice offer Safe travels. :)
I believe cattle panel would hold up cages or could support vertically.
Wow!! How exciting!! I live in Central KY and thanks to you guys Videos I have started a new garden and we finally have rabbits!! :D. Our doe is due Monday!! So exciting!
Silver fox rabbits are awesome, i used to raise them and may get back into them one of these days had a lot of issue with them dying in the heat of the summer, but very good tempered rabbits out of the hundreds i raised over a few years never had one that was mean. And also she gave you what looks like a nice new zealand. Good luck with the silver fox and the brown ones are chocolates.
CONGRATS ON THE NEW RABBITS ON YOUR HOMESTEAD😎👍🏻 THEY All LOOK SO CUTE AND ADORABLE
I have a mixed herd of Chinchilla, Florida White, Silver Fox, Rex and California. They have some beautiful babies. Haven't tastes them yet as we have just started breeding. Have some 6wks old. Good luck with your new herd they are beautiful.
