Living Traditions Homestead

Living Traditions Homestead

Living Traditions Homestead is all about living a simple and sustainable way of life. We believe the world has gotten too “busy” and that people are missing out on many of the true blessings this world has to offer. We started as a small urban homestead in Gilbert, AZ and after the city grew up around us, decided it was time leave corporate America and take a big leap of faith by moving our family to the Missouri Ozarks.

We put out new videos every week! We hope you will become part of our homestead family by subscribing to our channel and watching as we give up the rat race and live simpler, more fulfilling life in the country.

If you would like to mail us something our address is:

"Sow the Land" KZread Channel has a video about 2 years ago featuring a Pasture Raised Quail Farmer in Asheville NC "Wild Way Farm". The farmer specifically mentions the "Quail Tractor" needs to be smaller (specs given in video) because the quail get scared and fly up and die (as you've mentioned).

Retired nurse here: good to hear your dad is doing well. You can expect some significant fatigue and probably some depression. This is normal for cardiac patients especially the depression so be prepared to give lots of support!! Hopefully life settles down for you and yours now. Family first, your followers understand.

The whole thing is stressful. We only get one set of parents, each, so that is priority, always. Leaning on each other, leaning into faith will always carry you forward.

My husband age 70 just finished cardiac rehab. 2023 was a difficult year for him. 2013 triple bypass. 2023 a heart attack and stent. Two blocked arteries at the moment. It is a long road to recovery with the outcome. I wish and pray your dad heals from his surgery and can have a productive life. We had bought a 5 acres property end of 2022 and had moving in the mix of all these things to deal with his health. Eye injections every 3 months stroke in eye. Urology. Gastro. Bpap machine. Heart stent. Cardio. I understand!

Thank you for the update! I’m thankful that things ultimately worked out for you, and your family. Praise God for your father’s good news. Sending prayers for his continued recovery! The two of you make a beautiful team! I’m very glad to hear that you were not majorly affected by the severe weather, as so many were. Perhaps you will have a storm shelter build in the near future. ; ) Praying peace, and blessings over all of you! Looking forward, as always to your next video.
