    Hi Aryan, thank you for such a great tutorial! I am wondering, how would you manufacture something like that? I can guess 3D printing, but are there any other methods which could be applied? Also, how would somebody make a technical drawing of something like that? Is it possible to dimension lofts and advanced stuff like that?

  • @with-Aryan

    @with-Aryan

    8 ай бұрын

    Well there are a few methods, in 2023 yes 3D printing could work, but we are still in the initial phases, something that is much more mainstream is some kind of Styrofoam, and its cut like a CNC milling operation, to match your model. This is then post processed and you get what you need. Coming to dimensioning lofts, etc mainly its a good idea dimension the parent sketches that will create the loft, and then specify any tangent /curvature relations.

    Hey aryan, can you please recommend the best top end laptop for solidworks.

  • @with-Aryan

    @with-Aryan

    Жыл бұрын

    Hello! There are many laptops that can run SOLIDWORKS well, but some of the top-end models that are recommended by SOLIDWORKS themselves include: Dell Precision 7550 HP ZBook 17 G6 Lenovo ThinkPad P73 MSI WS75 BOXX GoBOXX SLM These laptops have high-end graphics cards, powerful processors, and plenty of RAM, which are all important for running SOLIDWORKS smoothly. It's important to keep in mind that the system requirements for SOLIDWORKS can change with different versions of the software, so it's always a good idea to check the requirements before making a purchase. Additionally, if you plan to work with large assemblies or complex designs, you may need even more powerful hardware to achieve optimal performance.

    Cannot partition surface, the trim tool and target do not intersect, If the trim tool is a 3D sketch, make sure the 3D sketch segments are coincident to the surfaces you are trimming.
