It’s tough in a lot of areas! I drive an hour each way to both of the rinks closest to me. Get some good outdoor wheels, pop in some earbuds, and cruise outside in a smooth spot.

I agree with you 🤦‍♂️... I just can't seem to find the damn time too with my work schedule so imma have to make the time cuz skatin' outside just isn't the same as being at a Rink with all your fellow Rink Rats flying around on the floor to sum jams like this...💯 🤷‍♂️ It's soooo therapeutic...👌🛼💜🛼

Or make a rink, get paid! If you build it, they will come. Outside rinks are becoming a thing too. Doubles as ice skating rink when its cold

Brings back memories all skate men's, we guys would roll around rink shuffle fast lined up 10 to 20 guys in a row haulin, flyin around the rink ✌️

⛸️ This reminds me of a similar skating move we did -early 80's The Bounce. Hips Left side bend knee dip/bounce down, come back up. Repeat move, Right side, in rhythm to music.. It was really easy and fun to skate!.I've just made a mess of it while trying to explain!!

I know what you mean! Couple names and various of a similar skating style. Bouncing, trucking, rexing, shuffling, etc. So much fun!

I just came across this video and It brought a smile to my face. I subscribed to your channel. 😊 I used to skate like this back in the late 70s and early 80s. It was such a fun time. I went almost every night of the week. It was at “Skateland” in Petersburg Virginia. This video brought back such good memories… again, thank you so much for sharing it and taking me down memory lane. We used to jam to “planet rock”. Loved it….I look forward to more of your videos.

The USA Shuffle Skate events in Abilene, Hiram, and Kennesaw are the best. We have a blast!

Don’t be scared to get out there. We all started somewhere. This specific video was from a song or two played for the most advanced shuffle skaters there that night. It wasn’t that fast the whole time. :-)

I remember Skating it was ABSOLUTELY so much FUN….If people would do this Often U will NOT have a weight problem….

At first I was like "meh" on the crowd. But these "mid key" nights are great. I would rather skate like this than in the shoulder to shoulder mad house. Nights like these you can take center floor and work on your chops, even the ones you don't have quite right yet.

I love how there's a lot of rinks in the South! and the White folk skate too. Not so much up North.

The rinks down south are amazing. Georgia and Florida skaters are spoiled! Lol

As a person who is not as skilled in roller skating I feel like all the people would run into me or I’d be an annoyance slowing down people. Slightly intimidating watching this. But I really want to roller skate!

You should try it. Family and regular sessions at rinks are great for beginners. This video was taken at an event specifically for advanced skaters - so don’t look at this as an example.

You must admit it doesn't have that Genesee qua😮

Last time skating I ate some Indian food a few hours before and boy was I ever cutting some nasty farts on the floor . You could hear people behind me going Eeeewww and blaming each other. Some farts were so bad I could smell them again next lap around.

Skate Reflections does have great music and DJs. The music in this video was definitely catered to this Shuffle Skate event.

I wouldn’t call this an advanced shuffle..

Great skating too bad they don't have better music available! That song is horrible!!
