Just got back into skating last week, been 4 times in the past 5 days 😂😂😂 such a great workout, it’s fun, and it’s helping keep me away from the alcohol addiction I just quit about two weeks ago. Never thought I’d find something that I really enjoyed doing sober and I’m so glad I finally have.

I'm almost 60 have been skating the last 14 yrs. You will be so suprised at how physical it is and i was in good shape.

I couldn't skate as a kid, but I learned with my son at the age of 45. I've been practicing ever since. I'm a little embarrassed at some times but I keep trying.

@@anitacampos5657 just use wrist guards. They make a huge difference because they are your first line of defense and they also keep you from breaking your wrist when you do a simple fall. ( we all do) just take it slowly and don’t rush it and you’ll get better without knowing it

Damn you’re a good teacher. I’m a beginner and was able to keep up with everything until the zero. I’m still having a little trouble staying in one spot while I dribble but it’s this definitely helped! Now instead of moving several feet I’m moving one or less!

I love watching skate videos and skated in my teens. It makes me SO HAPPY to see young and older alike coming together for fun. As a bonus, we look around us rather than at our phones. 🌸🐝

There’s something freeing in skating. I love watching you and get an understanding how your balance is kept.

I haven’t skated for 45 years. This brings back happy memories!

Picked up roller skating, to help me out of my midlife crisis/depression. Threw out my back a couple months ago, and got lazy. Might be time to put them back on. Thanks for the motivation!

Look into a derby league. So many say " Derby saved my soul". It's helping many friends in late 30s early 40s who are going thru the midlife crisis. I hope you back is feeling better 💓

Used to teach, havent been on skates in over 30 years. Im so glad the younger generation is picking it up.

I'm 67 and I wished we had been more creative in our dance moves. Love to see young people into skating.

Me too! I’m 60. We used to have adult night at the rink. Some of the best memories of my life include those nights as well as group skating around the French Quarter. I still have my quads (yes with big ol’ front stoppers!) and plan to make some modifications or get some new ones!

I am going to buy some skates tomorrow and get back at it. I am 50 now and haven't skated in years. I am going to look at all your videos to get back in the groove.

Do it! I'm 64 and started again last July. Had to relearn all over but I'm getting after it. Muscles are getting hard, over all balance improving and I feel like I've dropped years in age. Crazy!

Skating is so fun. There's a rink not far from our house and they have sessions several days a week. It's cool that this man skates with his sons.

The guy who invented that move is from Chicago. He was doing this back in the 80s. Thanks for showing me how it goes!

I'm doomed couldn't get it with just socks on. Skates should be programmable put them on set the style, crazy legs, walking, zero and flawlessly do that thing🤯❤👍🏾" NMGF" NO MORE GOOFY FEET😭

I loved to skate. I did it for a long time when I was younger. I watch the vids of people skating and it makes me want to do it again. It’s an expression of who you are and it made me feel so free. Unfortunately I have bad problems and I wouldn’t dare try to skate again by myself. I love your vids!

Hey bud. Been inline skating since I was 12 aggressive skated the entire time. My wife started quad skating originally in FL. After moving up here to NH she inlined. My daughter is now skating. We all got quads back in April. Love quad skating and flowing with the music. Appreciate these videos.

I used to skate indoors back in the day, we had a local rink that I ended up working at as a skate guard. If anyone hasn't heard of that, we had whistles and had skaters leave the floor if they were too rowdy for the crowd, like the penalty box in hockey. My whole family skates in LA.. they are smooth with it!!! I only rollerblade though 😩 but I admire their talents with skating especially while dancing. It’s a site to see and truly inspiring. This video reminds me of my family

You guys are off the Hook, I've been Skating with a Close crew [KnightRaveN Rollers, from Victoria B.C. Canada] for 4 decades now, and we are still learning new Styles... Pushing it to the Limit. Toe Stops... I Haven't used those in years.

This is the one thing I wanted to learn why I started skating, I'm going to practice this today!

Love the video. Back in the day I used skate. On Sundays we go to the skate ring. We skate until our mothers came. Thn it was time go home. I stopped skating in my late fifties. Because of my health. I missed skating but it was time put up my skates. I will be watching your videos.

Great awareness to point out that something new is "simple", primarily for those who are familiar with the process. Something new requires different amounts of energy and time to grasp depending on the individual. I feel "simple" is a word that is often misused, and misleading when not used in the proper context. Emphasis on energy and time differences will allow for the learner to grasp and appreciate the process. Thank you for sharing your energy and time

As a kid into a teen I skated every weekend. I haven't skated in 20 plus years. I tried skating again but I can't even stand on skates now. I'm glad this came up on my fyp I will watch your videos and try again. I really thought once a skater always a skater. Welll.....not me.

I like your teaching method by going slow and breaking it down. I don’t have skates and we don’t have a facility here but I watch Sparkle sometimes and it looks so fun.

I appreciate you showing how that pivot is done. I used to skate when I was a young man and I won one two-step contest in my area many years ago. I was one of those cats in the middle of the rink solo boogying, but never really mastered the pivot. I was okay at it, but never looked real smooth.

Some of the best and easy to understand tutorials! I will say that it is a lot easier for me to understand in skates other than black, i just can’t see the movements and combinations well in your black skates. On this one I paid more attention to Geos skates. I might just need to upgrade my prescription though lol. - Thank you for sharing your helpful videos! Great stuff y’all
