I did manage to get my head around the fact that I need speaking practice. And once I started to put my knowledge into practice, I realized I'm not out of the loop anymore. On second thoughts, It wasn't me who did all the work since I have friends who have been supporting and helping me on this way. Now that I'm sure of myself when speaking english I'm grateful to all these wonderful people. On the whole, I'm approaching advanced leved and it's getting harder to go ahead, so, I really appreciate lessons like this for I it's hard to come up with something off the top of my head

Sometimes it's hard for me to study my target languages every day, but on the whole I'm motivated and determined person. At the end of the day, what matters most is that you are systematic. Some phrasal verbs seem to be out of touch, but I do feel like we have to hang in there, study hard and one day we get ours heads around it!

On the whole, it is so much fun for me to learn from Emma’ s videos. It may take quite some time for me to get my head around all the idioms but I am determined to hang in there. when we talk about learn english we need to keep in mind on the whole things, you mustn´t be on second thoughts. you need to be in of the loop, about new expressions and stuffs like that, sometimes you´ll stuck by some difficults lessons BUT you´ll hang in there and in the end of day you´ll notice that everthing worth it .

I love this lesson, on the whole I have learned new expressions, despite I have enough knowledge, however on second thoughts, I don't have so complete vocabulary. Off top of my head I already reached 90% of good vocabulary, getting my head around into english conversations. Anyway I think that the important is always keeping yourself in the loop to absorb and expand your learning.

Hello Emma. First of all, I would like to express my appreciation & gratitude for all your sincere efforts on your channel. My name’s Sayed and I’m an EFL teacher for Arabic speaking students in a high school in the United Arab Emirates . Admittedly, I’ve really benefited a lot from all your lessons. You are really great🌹. What I love most is the last screen page where you summarise all the expressions, idioms or vocabulary. I always take a screenshot of that final page and keep it on a separate folder on my cellphone. I’m so indebted to you for all what I’ve learned from your channel. I keep recommending your channel for all my students, colleagues & friends. Keep it up Emma👍🏻🌺.

I don't call my grandma every day but on the whole, when we speak we spend more time than we expect and I am with her when she needs me. at the end of the day, the important things are the love that we feel if you ask me how much do I love her? off the top of my head, I say more than anyone. Anyway, I spoke with my aunt because they are living together and I told her it is possible to keep me in the loop if my grand mum needs me. I touch base with my aunt every month about how my grand mum improves with her illness. Actually, she does not seem sure of I can spend with her and leave my life here but definitely I would hang in there the time that she requires. Mostrar menos RESPONDER

Last year was one of the crucial years i ve ever gone through. Simply put, i moved to a far city so as to pursue my education. Being far from home had terrified me for so long.,so i used to keep in touch with my family, talking with them everyday, in order to keep not only myself in the loop about everything they did, but also what i did . Furthermore, i had met a wonderful friend that i got struck by the variety of languages he spoke, and the plenty of knowledge he knew . I’m completely out of touch with English speaking lessons, so I thought of watching a few videos. I was struck by the way you simplified plethora of phrases for novices like me. As the exams are knocking my door, I’m just trying to get my head around it and hang in there. On the whole I feel, I’ll be able to touch base lot more stuff than I thought!

Thanks Emma, from China. I have tried my utmost to get my head around these novel expressions. Even though I am struck by the tough situation, I am still hang in there. Because of the internet, even though I shouldn't go outside, but I don't feel like I am out of touch, like I still could learn English with Emma. The internet keep me in the loop. I know how severe the state we are facing is, but at the end of the day, I believe we can make it through.

Hi Emma, at the first moment I was glad to touch base with you and just wanted to wish you a happy new year, but I was struck by how you always seem to be sure of yourself and by your enthusiasm during the new lesson. So, on second thoughts, I decided to write down a couple of lines with some of the expressions you've taught us today. Well, this isn't the most intelligent paragraph I've ever written :-) but, at the end of the day, I've achieved the goal. Ah, I was forgetting: Happy new year! Enrico
